Friday Dua (Imam Zain ul Abideen a.s.)
Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) says,“Verily, Fridays enjoy rights (incumbent upon people). Therefore, beware of violating Fridays’ sanctity through showing shortcoming in acts of worship; rather, seek nearness to Almighty Allah by means of righteous deeds and abandonment of all forbidden acts. Certainly, on Fridays, Almighty Allah doubles up the rewards (of good deeds), erases forgivingly punishments (for evildoings), and raises the ranks (of faith) Merits of Fridays Friday days and nights excel the other days and nights in standing, honor, and regard. In this connection, the Holy Prophet (¥) is reported to have said, “Surely, in each hour of the twenty-four hours of the Friday day and night, Almighty Allah releases from Hellfire six hundred thousand persons.” Imam Ja`far al-sadiq (`a) is reported to have said, “One who dies in the period between midday on Thursdays and midday on Fridays will be released, by Almighty Allah, from pressure in graves.” Imam al-sadiq (as) is also report
اَللَّهُمَّ مَا قُلْتُ فِي جُمُعَتِي هٰذِهِ مِنْ قَوْلٍ
allahumma ma qultu fi jumu`ati hadhihi min qawlin
O Allah, whatever saying I have uttered this week,
أَوْ حَلَفْتُ فِيهَا مِنْ حَلْفٍ
aw halaftu fiha min halfin
whatever oath I have taken during it,
أَوْ نَذَرْتُ فِيهَا مِنْ نَذْرٍ
aw nadhartu fiha min nadhrin
and whatever vow I have made during it,
فَمَشِيَّتُكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ ذٰلِكَ كُلِّهِ
famashiyyatuka bayna yaday dhalika kullihi
verily, it is Your will that is before all that.
فَمَا شِئْتَ مِنْهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ كَانَ
fama shi'ta minhu an yakuna kana
Hence, only that which You will to have effect will come to pass
وَمَا لَمْ تَشَأْ مِنْهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ
wa ma lam tasha' minhu lam yakun
and whatever You do not will to have effect will never come to pass.
اَللَّهُمَّ ٱغْفِرْ لِي وَتَجَاوَزْ عَنِّي
allahumma ighfir li wa tajawaz `anni
O Allah, (please) forgive me and overlook my offenses.
اَللَّهُمَّ مَنْ صَلَّيْتَ عَلَيْهِ فَصَلاَتِي عَلَيْهِ
allahumma man sallayta `alayhi fasalati `alayhi
O Allah, whosoever You bless, then I invoke Your blessings upon him
وَمَنْ لَعَنْتَ فَلَعْنَتِي عَلَيْهِ
wa man la`anta fala`nati `alayhi
and whosoever You curse, then I invoke Your curse upon him.
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي تَعَمَّدْتُ إِلَيْكَ بِحَاجَتِي
allahumma inni ta`ammadtu ilayka bihajati
O Allah, I am resorting to You with my needs,
وَ أَنْزَلْتُ إِلَيْكَ ٱلْيَوْمَ فَقْرِي
wa anzaltu ilayka alyawma faqri
and I am putting in Your presence my poverty,
وَفَاقَتِي وَمَسْكَنَتِي
wa faqati wa maskanati
my indigence, and my deprivation.
فَأَنَا لِمَغْفِرَتِكَ أَرْجىٰ مِنِّي لِعَمَلِي
fa-ana limaghfiratika arja minni li`amali
Verily, I hope for Your forgiveness more than I rely on my deeds.
وَلَمَغْفِرَتُكَ وَرَحْمَتُكَ أَوْسَعُ مِنْ ذُنُوبِي
wa lamaghfiratuka wa rahmatuka awsa`u min dhunubi
Indeed, Your forgiveness and Your mercy are more inclusive than my sins are.
فَتَوَلَّ قَضَاءَ كُلِّ حَاجَةٍ لِي بِقُدْرَتِكَ عَلَيْهَا
fatawalla qada'a kulli hajatin li biqudratika `alayha
So, (please) embark on settling all my needs out of Your power over them,
وَتَيسِيرِ ذٰلِكَ عَلَيْكَ
wa taysiri dhalika `alayka
out of the easiness for You to do that,
وَلِفَقْرِي إِلَيْكَ
wa lifaqri ilayka
and out of my urgent need for that.
فَإنِّي لَمْ أُصِبْ خَيْراً قَطُّ إِلاَّ مِنَكَ
fa'inni lam usib khayran qattu illa minka
Verily, I have not gained any good thing save from You
وَلَمْ يَصْرِفْ عَنِّي سُوءاً قَطُّ أَحَدٌ سِوَاكَ
wa lam yasrif `anni su'an qattu ahadun siwaka
and none could ever repel evil from me save You.
وَلَسْتُ أَرْجُو لآِخِرَتِي وَدُنْيَايَ
wa lastu arju li-akhirati wa dunyaya wa
I hope for none to stand for me in my affairs of this world and the Next World
وَلاَ لِيَوْمِ فَقْرِي
la liyawmi faqri
and on the day of my poverty,
يَوْمَ يُفْرِدُنِي ٱلنَاسُ فِي حُفْرَتِي
yawma yufriduni alnnasu fi hufrati
when people will leave me alone in my hole (i.e. grave)
وَأُفْضي إِلَيْكَ بِذَنْبِي سِوَاكَ
wa ufdi ilayka bidhanbi siwaka
and I will then confess of my sins before You, except You.
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَجِّلْ فَرَجَهُمْ
allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin wa `ajjil farajahum
O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and hasten their Reappearance
لَا بِشَيْءٍ مِن آلَاءِكَ رَبِّي اُكَذِّبُ
la bishay'in min ala'ika rabbi ukadhdhibu.
“None of Your favors do I deny,”
أَسْتَغْفِرُ ٱللَّهَ رَبّي وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ
astaghfiru allaha rabbi wa atubu ilayhi
I pray for the forgiveness of Allah—my Lord, and I repent before Him.
اَللَّهُمَّ ٱجْعَلْ صَلاَتَكَ
allahumma ij`al salawatika
O Allah, (please do) let Your blessings
وَصَلاَةَ مَلاَئكَتِكَ وَرُسُلِكَ
wa salata mala'ikatika wa rusulika
and the blessings of Your angels and Messengers
عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin
be on Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِهِ
allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa alihi
O Allah, send blessings to Muhammad and his Household,
وَهَبْ لِيَ ٱلْغَدَاةَ رِضَاكَ
wa hab liya alghadata ridaka
grant me Your satisfaction this very early morning,
وَأَسْكِنْ قَلْبِي خَوْفَكَ
wa askin qalbi khawfaka
place fear of You in my heart,
وَٱقْطَعْهُ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
waqta`hu `amman siwaka
and separate it from (leaning to) anyone other than You,
حَتَّىٰ لاَ أَرْجُوَ وَلاَ أَخَافَ إِلاَّ إِيَّاكَ
hatta la arjwa wa la akhafa illa iyyaka
so that I will hope for and fear none save You.
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِهِ
allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa alihi
O Allah, send blessings to Muhammad and his Household
وَهَبْ لِي ثَبَاتَ ٱلْيَقينِ
wa hab li thabata alyaqini
and grant me resolute faith,
وَمَحْضَ ٱلإِخْلاَصِ
wa mahda al-ikhlasi
pure sincerity (to You),
وَشَرَفَ ٱلتَّوْحيدِ
wa sharafa alttawhidi
honorable belief in (Your) oneness,
وَدَوَامَ ٱلاِسْتِقَامَةِ
wa dawama al-istiqamati
persistent straightness,
وَمَعْدِنَ ٱلصِّبْرِ
wa ma`dina alssabri
essential tolerance,
وَٱلرِّضَا بِٱلْقَضَاءِ وَٱلْقَدَرِ
walrrida bilqada'i walqadari
and satisfaction with (Your) predetermination and decrees.
يَا قَاضِيَ حَوَائِجِ ٱلسَّائِلينَ
ya qadiya hawa'iji alssa'ilina
O He Who settles the needs of His beseechers;
يَا مَنْ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي ضَمِيرِ ٱلصَّامِتِينَ
ya man ya`lamu ma fi damiri alssamitina
O He Who knows what is in the innermost of the silent;
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِهِ
salli `ala muhammadin wa alihi
send blessings to Muhammad and his Household,
وَٱسْتَجِبْ دُعَائِي
wastajib du`a'i
respond to my prayers,
وَٱغْفِرْ ذَنْبِي
waghfir dhanbi
forgive my sins,
وَأَوْسِعْ رِزْقِي
wa awsi` rizqi
expand my means of livelihood,
وَٱقْضِ حَوَائِجِي فِي نَفْسِي
waqdi hawa'iji fi nafsi
and settle the needs of myself
وَإِخْوَانِي فِي دِينِي وَأَهْلِي
wa ikhwani fi dini wa ahli
and my brethren-in-faith and my family members.
إِلٰهِي طُمُوحُ ٱلآمَالِ قَدْ خَابَتْ إِلاَّ لَدَيْكَ
ilahi tumuhu al-amali qad khabat illa ladayka
O Allah, all ambitions of expectations are disappointed except those addressed to You,
وَمَعَاكِفُ ٱلْهِمَمِ قَدْ تَعَطَّلَتْ إِلاَّ عَلَيْكَ
wa ma`akifu alhimami qad ta`attalat illa `alayka
all resolute determinations are paralyzed except those relied upon You,
وَمَذَاهِبُ ٱلْعُقُولِ قَدْ سَمَتْ إِلاَّ إِلَيْكَ
wa madhahibu al`uquli qad samat illa ilayka
and all reason-based tendencies are wasted except those directed to You.
فَأَنْتَ الَّرجَاءُ وَإِلَيْكَ الْمُلْتَجَأُ
fa-anta alrraja'u wa ilayka almultaja'u
So, You are the ultimate hope and to You is the resort.
يَا أَكْرَمَ مَقْصُودٍ وَأَجْوَدَ مَسْؤُولٍ
ya akrama maqsudin wa ajwada mas'ulin
O He Who is the noblest objective and the most magnanimous desired,
هَرَبْتُ إِلَيْكَ بِنَفْسِي
harabtu ilayka binafsi
I am fleeing to You from myself.
يَا مَلْجَأَ ٱلْهَارِبِينَ بِأَثْقَالِ ٱلذُّنُوبِ
ya malja'a alharibina bi-athqali aldhdhunubi
O shelter of those who flee overburdened with the heavy loads of sins,
أَحْمِلُهَا عَلَىٰ ظَهْرِي
ahmiluha `ala zahri
carrying my sins on my back,
لاَ أَجِدُ لِي إِلَيْكَ شَافِعاً
la ajidu li ilayka shafi`an
I cannot find any interceder for me
سِوَىٰ مَعْرِفَتِي بِأَنَّكَ أَقْرَبُ مَنْ رَجَاهُ ٱلطَّالِبُونَ
siwa ma`rifati bi'annaka aqrabu man rajahu alttalibuna
except that I know for sure that You are the nearest of all those who are hoped by beseechers
وَأَمَّلَ مَا لَدَيْهِ ٱلرَّاغِبُونَ
wa ammala ma ladayhi alrraghibuna
and of all those whose donations are expected by the desirous.
يَا مَنْ فَتَقَ ٱلْعُقُولَ بِمَعْرِفَتِهِ
ya man fataqa al`uqula bima`rifatihi
O He Who has split the intellects on the recognition of Him,
وَأَطْلَقَ ٱلأَلْسُنَ بِحَمْدِهِ
wa atlaqa al-alsuna bihamdihi
made tongues articulate with the praising of Him
وَجَعَلَ مَا ٱمْتَنَّ بِهِ عَلَىٰ عِبَادِهِ فِي كِفَاءٍ لِتَاْدِيَةِ حَقِّهِ
wa ja`ala ma imtanna bihi `ala `ibadihi fi kifa'in lita'diyati haqqhi
and made that which He has conferred upon His servants enough means for the fulfillment of their duties towards Him;
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِهِ
salli `ala muhammadin wa alihi
(please) send blessings to Muhammad and his Household,
وَلاَ تَجْعَلْ لِلشَّيْطَانِ عَلَىٰ عَقْلِي سَبيلاًَ
wa la taj`al lilshshaytani `ala `aqli sabilan
do not give Satan any way (of success) over my reason,
وَلاَ لِلْبَاطِلِ عَلَىٰ عَمَلِي دَلِيلاً
wa la lilbatili `ala `amali dalilan
and do not give wrongness a way to reach my deeds.
أَسْتَغْفِرُ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِي لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ
astaghfiru allaha alladhi la ilaha illa huwa
I pray the forgiveness of Allah save Whom there is no god;
ٱلْحَيُّ ٱلْقَيُّومُ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ
alhayyu alqayyumu wa atubu ilayhi
the Ever-living and Ever-subsisting,and I turn in repentance to Him
أَصْبَحْتُ فِي ذِمَّةِ ٱللَّهِ
asbahtu fi dhimmati allahi
I begin this morning seeking the protection of Allah,
وَذِمَّةِ مَلاَئِكَتِهِ
wa dhimmati mala'ikatihi
the protection of His angels,
وَذِمَمِ أَنْبِيَائِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ عَلَيهِمُ ٱلسَّلاَمُ
wa dhimami anbiya'ihi wa rusulihi `alayhimu alssalamu
the protections of His prophets and messengers, peace be upon them,
وَذِمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ
wa dhimmati muhammadin salla allahu `alayhi wa alihi
the protection of Muhammad, peace be upon him and his Household,
وَذِمَمِ ٱلأَوْصِيَاءِ مِنَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلسَّلاَمُ
wa dhimami al-awsiya'i min ali muhammadin `alayhimu alssalamu
and the protections of the Successors from Muhammad’s progeny, peace be upon them.
آمَنْتُ بِسِرِّ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلسَّلاَمُ وَعَلاَنِيَتِهِمْ
amantu bisirri ali muhammadin `alayhimu alssalamu wa `alaniyatihim
I believe in the secrets of Muhammad’s progeny, peace be upon them, and in their open affairs
وَظَاهِرِهِمْ وَبَاطِنِهِمْ
wa zahirihim wa batinihim
and in their exoteric and their esoteric affairs.
وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّهُمْ فِي عِلْمِ ٱللَّهِ وَطَاعَتِهِ
wa ash-hadu annahum fi `ilmi allahi wa ta`atihi
I bear witness that they, as regarding their knowledge of Allah and their obedience to Him,
كَمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ
ka-muhammadin salla allahu `alayhi wa alihi
are just like Muhammad, peace be upon him and his Household.
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ ٱلْعَظيمِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ
subhana rabbiya al`azimi wa bihamdihi
All glory be to Allah, the All-great and with the Praising of Him;
اسْتَغْفِرُ ٱللَّهَ رَبِّي وَاتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ
astaghfiru allaha rabbi wa atubu ilayhi
I pray the forgiveness of Allah, my Lord, and I turn repentant to Him.
أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ
ash-hadu an la ilaha illa allahu
I bear witness that there is no god except Allah,
وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَريكَ لَهُ
wahdahu la sharika lahu
the One, (there is) no associate with Him;
وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ
wa ash-hadu anna muhammadan `abduhu wa rasuluhu
and I testify that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger.
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin waj`alni mina alttawwabina
O Allah, send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
وَٱجْعَلْنِي مِنَ ٱلتَّوَّابِينَ
waj`alni mina almutatahhirina
and make me of those who turn to You constantly
وَٱجْعَلْنِي مِنَ ٱلْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ
ash-hadu an la ilaha illa allahu
and those who keep themselves pure and clean.
اَللّٰهُمَّ طَهِّرْنِيْ وَ طَهِّرْ قَلْبِيْ وَ انْقِ غُسْلِيْ وَ اَجْرِ عَلٰى لِسَانِيْ ذِكْرَكَ وَ ذِكْرَ نَبِيِّكَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ اٰلِہٖ وَ اجْعَلْنِيْ مِنَ التَّوَّابِيْنَ وَ مِنَ الْمُتَطَهِّرِيْنَ.
allaahumma tahhirnee wa tahhir qalbee wan qe ghuslee wa ajre a’laa lesaanee zikraka wa zikra nabiyyeka mohammadin sallal laaho a’layhe wa aalehi waj a’lnee menat tawwaabeena wa menal motatahhereen.
O Allah! Purify me and purify my heart, adorn my bath, and make Your remembrance and remembrance of Your prophet Muhammad, peace of Allah be on him and his progeny, flow on my tongue. Make me amongst the repantent and the purified ones.
اَللّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ صَلَواتِكَ وَصَلَوَاتِ مَلَاْئِكَتِكَ وَرُسُلِكَ وَجَمِيعِ خَلْقِكَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وأَهْلِ بَيْتِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْهِ وَعَليْهِمُ السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ.
bismillahi wa billahi
In the Name of Allah (I begin);and by (the command of) Allah
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِوَبِٱللَّهِ
wa `ala sunnati muhammadin wa ali muhammad
and according to the tradition of Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad (I do this).
وَعَلَىٰ سُنَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
bismillahi alrrahmani alrrahimi
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
alhamdu lillahi al-awwali qabla al-insha'i wal-ihya'i
All praise be to Allah, the First before the bringing forth and the giving of life,
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلْأَوَّلِ قَبْلَ ٱلْإِنْشَاءِ وَٱلْإِحْيَاءِ
wal-akhiri ba`da fana'i al-ashya'i
and the Last after the annihilation of all things,
وَٱلْآخِرِ بَعْدَ فَنَاءِ ٱلْأَشْيَاءِ
al`alimi alladhi la yansa man dhakarahu
the All-knowing Who forgets not him who remembers Him,
ٱلْعَلِيمِ ٱلَّذِي لاَ يَنْسَىٰ مَنْ ذَكَرَهُ
wa la yanqusu man shakarahu
decreases not him who thanks Him,
وَلاَ يَنْقُصُ مَنْ شَكَرَهُ
wa la yukhayyibu man da`ahu
disappoints not him who supplicates Him,
وَلاَ يُخَيِّبُ مَنْ دَعَاهُ
wa la yaqta`u raja'a man rajahu
and cuts not off the hope of him who hopes in Him!
وَلاَ يَقْطَعُ رَجَاءَ مَنْ رَجَاهُ
allahumma inni ush-hiduka
O Allah, I call You to witness
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُشْهِدُكَ
wa kafa bika shahidan
and You are sufficient Witness
وَكَفَىٰ بِكَ شَهيداً
wa ush-hidu jami`a mala'ikatika
and I call to witness all Your angels,
وَأُشْهِدُ جَمِيعَ مَلائِكَتِكَ
wa sukkana samawatika
the inhabitants of Your heavens,
وَسُكَّانَ سَموَاتِكَ
wa hamalata `arshika
the bearers of Your Throne,
وَحَمَلَةَ عَرْشِكَ
wa man ba`athta min anbiya'ika wa rusulika
Your prophets and Your messengers whom You have sent out,
وَمَنْ بَعَثْتَ مِنْ أَنْبيَائِكَ وَرُسُلِكَ
wa ansha'ta min asnafi khalqika
and the various kinds of creatures You have brought forth,
وَ أَنْشَاْتَ مِنْ أَصْنَافِ خَلْقِكَ
anni ash-hadu annaka anta allahu
that I bear witness that You are Allah;
أَنِّي أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ ٱللَّهُ
la ilaha illa anta wahdaka
there is no god but You, You alone,
لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ
la sharika laka wa la `adila
Who have no associate nor any equal,
لاَ شَرِيكَ لَكَ وَلاَ عَدِيلَ
wa la khulfa liqawlika wa la tabdila
and Your word has no failing, nor any change;
وَلاَ خُلْفَ لِقَوْلِكَ وَلاَ تَبْدِيلَ
wa anna muhammadan salla allahu `alayhi wa alihi `abduka wa rasuluka
and that Muhammad, Allah bless him and his Household, is Your servant and Your messenger;
وَ أَنَّ مُحَمَّداً صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ
adda ma hammaltahu ila al`ibadi
he delivered to the servants that with which You charged him,
أَدَّىٰ مَا حَمَّلْتَهُ إِلَىٰ ٱلْعِبَادِ
wa jahada fi allahi `azza wa jalla haqqa aljihadi
struggled for Allah as is His due,
وَجَاهَدَ فِي ٱللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حَقَّ ٱلْجِهَادِ
wa annahu bashshara bima huwa haqqun min alththawabi
gave the good news of the truth of reward,
وَ أَنَّهُ بَشَّرَ بِما هُوَ حَقُّ مِنَ ٱلثَّوابِ
wa andhara bima huwa sidqun min al`iqabi
and warned of the veracity of punishment.
وَ أَنْذَرَ بِما هُوَ صِدْقٌ مِنَ ٱلعِقَابِ
allahumma thabbitni `ala dinika ma ahyaytani
O Allah, make me firm in Your religion as long as You keep me alive,
اَللَّهُمَّ ثَبِّتْنِي عَلَىٰ دِينِكَ مَا أَحْيَيْتَنِي
wa la tuzigh qalbi ba`da idh hadaytani
make not my heart swerve after You have guided me,
وَلاَ تُزِغْ قَلْبِي بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنِي
wa hab li min ladunka rahmatan
and give me mercy from You,
وَهَبْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً
innaka anta alwahhabu
surely, You are the All-bestower.
إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ ٱلْوَهَّابُ
salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin
Bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
waj`alni min atba`ihi wa shi`atihi
make me one of his followers and his partisans,
وَٱجْعَلْنِي مِنْ أَتْبَاعِهِ وَشِيعَتِهِ
wahshurni fi zumratihi
muster me in his band,
وَٱحْشُرْنِي فِي زُمْرَتِهِ
wa waffiqni li-ada'i fardi aljumu`ati
and give me the success of accomplishing the obligatory observance of Fridays,
وَوَفِّقْنِي لأَدَاءِ فَرْضِ ٱلْجُمُعَاتِ
wa ma awjabta `alayya fiha min atta`ati
performing the acts of obedience which You have made incumbent upon me within it,
وَمَا أَوْجَبْتَ عَلَيَّ فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلطَّاعَاتِ
wa qasamta li-ahliha min al`ata'i
and receiving the bestowal which You have apportioned for its people
وَقَسَمْتَ لأَهْلِهَا مِنَ ٱلعَطَاءِ
fi yawmi aljaza'i
on the Day of Recompense!
فِي يَوْمِ ٱلْجزَاءِ
innaka anta al`azizu alhakimu
Surely, You are the Almighty, the All-wise!
إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ
allahumma anta rabbi
O Allah, You are my Lord;
اَللَّهُمَّ انْتَ رَبِّي
la ilaha illa anta
there is no god save You;
لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ انْتَ
khalaqtani wa ana `abduka wabnu amatika
You have created me, and I am Your slave and the son of Your bondmaid;
خَلَقْتَني وَانَا عَبْدُكَ وَٱبْنُ امَتِكَ
wa fi qabdatika wa nasiyati biyadika
and I am in Your grip; and my forehead is in Your Hand;
وَفي قَبْضَتِكَ وَنَاصِيَتي بِيَدِكَ
amsaytu `ala `ahdika wa wa`dika maistata`tu
I come to observe my covenant and promise to You as much as I can.
امْسَيْتُ عَلَىٰ عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا ٱسْتَطَعْتُ
a`udhu biridaka min sharri ma sana`tu
I take refuge in Your pleasure against the evil of my deeds.
اعُوذُ بِرِضَاكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ
abu'u bini`matika wa abu'u bidhanbi
I acknowledge Your favors and confess of my sins.
ابُوءُ بِنِعْمَتِكَ وَابُوءُ بِذَنْبِي
allahummaj-a’lnee akhshaaka h’attaa ka annee araaka wa as-i’dnee bi-taqwaaka wa laa tushqinee bi-ma-a’as’eeka wa khir lee fee qaz”aaa-ika wa baarik lee fee qadrika h’attaa laa uh’ibba taa’jeela maa akhkharta wa laa taakheera maa a’jjalta
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
بِسْمِ الله الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ
waj-a’l ghinaaya fee nafsee wa mattia’-nee bi-sam-e’e. wa bas’aree waj-a’l humal waaritheena minnee wan s’urnee a’laa man z’alamanee wa arinee feehi qudrataka yaa rabbi wa aqrir bid’aalika a’ynee
Peace be upon you, O blessed new day, which God has made a holiday for His saints, purified from filth and free from impurity.
اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا الْيَوْمُ الْجَدِيدُ الْمُبَارَكُ الَّذِي جَعَلَ اللَّهُ عِيداً لِأَوْلِيَائِهِ الْمُطَهَّرِينَ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ
allahumma a-i’nnee a’laa hawli yawmil qiyaamah wa akhrijnee minad dunyaa saaliman wa adkhinil jannata aaminan’w wa zawwijnee minal h’ooril e’eni wakfinee moo-natee wa moo-nata a’yaalee wa moo-natan naasi wa adkhilnee birah’matika fee i’baadikas’ s’aalih’eena
O those who are honored with His guardians, chosen from the desert, sacrificing themselves with the guardians of the Most Gracious. Peace be upon you, an everlasting peace
الْخَارِجِينَ عَنِ الْبَلْوَى الْمَكْرُورِينَ مَعَ أَوْلِيَائِهِ الْمُصطَفَّيْنَ مِنَ الْعَكَرِ الْبَاذِلِينَ أَنْفُسَهُمْ مَعَ أَوْلِيَاءِ الرَّحْمَنِ تَسْلِيماً السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ سَلَاماً دَائِماً أَبَداً.
allahumma in u-a’d’d’ibnee fa-ahlun lid’aalika anaa wa in taghfir lee fa-ahlun lid’aalika anta wa kayfa tu-a’d’d’ibnee
Peace be upon you, O rising sun and the virtuous and splendid light. I call you to bear witness to the oneness of God, so that you will be my witness when the Lord appears to decide the judgment In the new world.
اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكِ أَيَّتُهَا الشَّمْسُ الطَّالِعَةُ وَالنُّورُ الْفَاضِلُ الْبَهِيُّ أُشْهِدُكِ بِتَوْحِيدِ اللَّهِ لِتَكُونِي شَاهِدِي إِذَا ظَهَرَ الرَّبُّ لِفَصْلِ الْقَضَاءِ فِي الْعَالَمِ الْجَدِيدِ.
yaa sayyidee wa h’ubbuka fee qalbee amaa wa i’zzatika la-in fa-a’lta d’aalika bee li-najma-u’nna baynee wa bayna qawmin t’aala maa a’adaytuhum feeka
Oh God, I seek refuge in You and the light of Your honorable face from distorting my character. And if my soul in torment hesitates with your light, which is hidden from every beholder, the light of my heart,for I am your servant and in your grip, and I have no Lord but you.
اَللّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ وَبِنُورِ وَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ أَنْ تُشَوِّهَ خَلْقِي وَأَنْ تُرَدِّدَ رُوحِي فِي الْعَذَابِ بِنُورِكَ الْمَحْجُوبِ عَنْ كُلِّ نَاظِرٍ نَوِّرْ قَلْبِي فَإِنِّي أَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَفِي قَبْضَتِكَ وَلَا رَبَّ لِي سِوَاكَ.
allaahumma bih’aqqi awliyaa-ikat’ t’aahireena a’layimus salaam arzuqnaa s’idqal h’adeethi wa adaaa-al amaanatil muh’aafaz’ata a’las’ s’alawaati
O Allah, I seek nearness to You with a humble heart, and to Your guardian with a submissive body, and to the righteous leaders with a humble soul. And to the honorable nobles and chosen elite, I humble myself. I lower my face in submission to the One who has singled You out, and there is no god but You, and there is no creator except You.
اَللّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَيْكَ بِقَلْبٍ خَاضِعٍ وَإِلَى وَلِيِّكَ بِبَدَنٍ خَاشِعٍ وَإِلَى الْأَئِمَّةِ الرَّاشِدِينَ بِفُؤَادٍ مُتَوَاضِعٍ وَإِلَى النُّقَبَاءِ الْكِرَامِ وَالنُّجَبَاءِ الْأَغِرَّةِ بِالذُّلِّ وَأَرْغُمُ أَنْفِي لِمَنْ وَحَّدَكَ وَلَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ وَلَا خَالِقَ سِوَاكَ
allaahumma innaa ah’aqqu khalqika an taf-a’la a’aalika binaa allaahummaf a’lhu binaa birah’matika
I humble myself to Your close allies and turn away from every enemy.
وَأُصَغِّرُ خَدِّي لِأَوْلِيَائِكَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ وَأَفْضِي عَنْكَ كُلَّ ضِدٍّ وَنِدٍّ أَعْطِنِي مِنْ مَعْرُوفِكَ مَعْرُوفاً تُغْنِينِي بِهِ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ.
allaahumma arfaa’z’annee ilayka s’aa-i’dan wa laa tat’ma-inna fiyya a’duwwan wa laa h’aasidan wah’faz’nee qaaa-iman wa qaa-i’dan wa yaqt’anna wa raaqidan
Indeed, I am Your humble servant, acknowledging my sins. I beseech You, O my Lord, to pardon them.And save me from impurities and abominations.
فَإِنِّي عَبْدُكَ الذَّلِيلُ الْمُعْتَرِفُ بِذَنْبِي أَسْأَلُكَ يَا سَيِّدِي حَطَّهَا عَنِّي وَتَخْلِيصِي مِنَ الْأَدْنَاسِ وَالْأَرْجَاسِ.
allaahummaghfir lee warh’amnee wahdinee sabeelakal aqwamu wa qinee h’arra jahannama wa h’areeqal muz”rami wah’t’ut’ a’nnil maghrama wal maa-thuma waj-a’lnee min khiyaaril a’alami
My God and Master, I have been cut off from my kindred and dispensed with you from the people of the world, deprived of your kindness. Grant me from your kindness a favor by which you will enrich me from those who Except you.
إِلَهِي وَسَيِّدِي قَدِ انْقَطَعْتُ عَنْ ذَوِي الْقُرْبَى وَاسْتَغْنَيْتُ بِكَ عَنْ أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا مُتَعَرِّضاً لِمَعْرُوفِكَ
allaahumma arh’amnee mimmaa laa t’aaqai lee bihee wa laa s’abra lee a’layhi bi-rah’matika yaa arh’amar raah’imeen allaahumma s’alli a’laa muh’ammadin’w wa aali muh’ammad.
O Allah make me submissive, till I surrender to Thee, make me happy by putting “fear of God” in my heart, Do not make me miserable on account of disobedience unto Thee. Write (prescribe) for me freedom from pain, trouble and anxiety, make ready for me blessings and happiness, so that what is last does not come in advance. Or what is urged to happen quickly is not delayed. Give me contentment and an independent disposition.
اللّهُمَّ اجْعَلْني أخْشاكَ كأني أراكَ وَأسْعِدْني بِتَقْواكَ، وَلاتُشْقِني بِنَشْطي لِمَعاصيكَ وَخِرْ لي في قَضائِكَ وَبارِكْ لي في قَدَرِكَ حَتّى لا أحُبَّ تأخيرَ ما عَجّلْتَ وَلاتَعْجيلَ ماأخّرْتَ،
alssalamu `alayka ya hujjata allahi fi ardihi
Make me derive advantage from the power of hearing (listen to and accept advise and obey), And seeing (discernment, intelligence, and perception of truth); And both of them to my inheritors (children) Give me an upper hand over him who intimidates me, and treat me well through Thy might and power;
واجْعَلْ غِناي في نَفْسي وَمَتِعْني في سَمْعي وَبَصَري وَاجْعَلْهُما الوارِثَيْنِ مِنّي، وَانْصِرْني عَلى مَنْ ظَلَمَني وَأرِني فيهِ قُدْرَتَكَ يارَبِّ وَأقِرَّ بِفَضْلِكَ عَيْني.
alssalamu `alayka ya `ayna allahi fi khalqihi
O Lord, and keep me in that exact state. O Allah! Attend to and take care of me in the frightening hours of the Day of Judgment. Make me leave this world in safe and sound condition, and enter the permanent land of bliss and beauty (Paradise) in peace and tranquility; And join the delightful charming people who have refined manners, intelligent minds and beautiful faces, multiply provisions allotted to me, and to my dependents, also promote welfare of the people and make me sit, through Thy mercy, in the company of Thy upright servants.
اللّهُمَّ أعِنّي عَلى هَوْلِ يَوْمِ القيامَةِ، وَأخْرِجْني مِنَ الدُّنْيا سالِما، وَزَوِّجني مِنَ الحورِ العينِ، وَاكْفِني مؤُونَتي وَمؤُونَةَ عيالي وَمؤُونَةَ النّاسِ، وَأدْخِلْني بِرَحْمَتِكَ في عِبادِكَ الصالِحينَ.
alssalamu `alayka ya nura allahi
O Allah! If penalized (it means) I deserved punishment; if forgiven ( it is because) Thou art (the Most Merciful) Master. How would Thou punish?
اللّهُمَّ إنْ تُعَذِّبْني فَأهْلٌ لِذلِكَ أنا وَإنْ تَغْفِرْ لي فأهْلٌ لِذلك أنْتَ ، وكيف تعذبني
alladhi yahtadi bihi almuhtaduna
O My Master! My heart is full of Thy Love, undoubtedly, and Thy absolute authority, very kindly, take notice of that, and keep us together with people who are given respite. How much less attention they may pay to Thy commands
يا سيدي وحبك في قلبي ، أما وعزتك لئن فعلت لتجمعن بيني وبين قوم طالما عاديتهم فيك
wa yufarraju bihi `an almu'minina
O Allah! For the sake of Thy pure and pious friends, peace be upon them, make us preserve true traditions of the Holy Prophet (S.A), And come up to the confidence put in us, to keep safe and watch over the “backbone” of Thy religion (adoration and worship of Allah).
اللهم بحق أوليائك الطاهرين اللّهُمَّ إرْزِقْنا صِدْقَ الحَديثِ وَأداءِ الامانَةِ وَالُمحافَظَةَ عَلى الصلواتِ،
alssalamu `alayka ayyuha almuhadhdhabu alkha'ifu
O Allah! Truly, we are the worthiest among thy creation, treat us in that context. O Allah! Treat us mercifully.
اللّهُمَّ إنَّا أحَقُّ خَلْقِكَ أنْ تَفْعَلَهُ بِنا، اللّهُمَّ افْعَلْهُ بِنا برحمتك
alssalamu `alayka ayyuha alwaliyyu alnnasihu
O Allah! Make my knowledge about thee of the highest quality. Do not let me drown myself in hatred, nor feel resentful; keep me steadfast, within bounds, obedient, enduring.
اللّهُمَّ ارْفَعْ ظَنّي صاعِداً وَلا تُطْمِعْ فِيَّ عَدوّا وَلا حاسِداً وَأحْفَظْنِي قائِما وَقاعِداً وَيَقْظانَ وَراقِداً،
alssalamu `alayka ya safinata alnnajati
O Allah forgive me, have mercy on me, make me strive in Thy way honestly, free me from the heat of burning Hell, from being consumed by the blazing fire, make less what I have to pay back, and punishment I deserve, make me be one of the choicest people for all times.
اللّهُمَّ إغْفِرْ لي وَارْحَمْني وَاهْدِني سَبيلَكَ الاقْوَمُ وَقِني حَرَّ جَهَنَّمَ وَ احْطِطْ عَنّي المَغْرَمَ وَالمَأثَمَ وَاجْعَلْني مِنْ خيارِ العالَمِ.
alssalamu `alayka ya `ayna alhayati
O Allah! Have mercy on me because have not the strength, nor patience to withstand it (punishment), Through Thy mercy, O the Most Merciful. O Allah send blessings on Muhammad and on the children of Muhammad.
إرْحَمْني مَمّا لاطاقَةَ لي بِهِ وَلاصَبْرَ لي عَلَيْهِ. برحمتك يا أرحم الرحمين ، اللهم صل على محمد وآهل بيته الطيبين الطاهرين
alssalamu `alayka
in the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. O He who has mercy on those whom the servants do not have mercy on, O He who accepts those whom the country does not accept, O He who does not despise those in need of Him, and O He who does not He disappoints those who insist on him.And whoever does not have to be answered by the people of the indication of it, and whoever repents a young man is what he is filled with, and thank you for what he does not do. And whoever is indifferent to those who have been from him, and whoever calls for himself, whoever manages from him, and whoever does not change the grace, no He hastens to retaliate vengeance, and O He who produces good deeds until they increase them, and who overlooks evil ones until they are relieved of them, hopes are diminished without the extent of your generosity in meeting needs. And the vessels of requests were filled with the abundance of Your goodness and became corrupted without attaining Your description of attributes. To You belongs the highest exaltation above all that is high, and the most glorious majesty. For every majesty, every venerable person with you is small, And every honorable person next to your honor is despicable. The newcomers were disappointed in others, and lost.Those who seek nothing but You, those who know nothing but You are lost, and those who seek refuge are barren except for those who seek help from Your grace. Your door is open to those who desire. Your presence is permissible. To those who ask, and your relief is near to those who seek help. Those who hope will not be disappointed by you, and those who seek help will not despair of your giving, and the one who seeks forgiveness will not be distressed by your vengeance. Your livelihood is happy for those who disobey you, and your dream is objectionable to those who disobey you. You have become accustomed to being kind to the wrongdoers, and your practice is to spare the wrongdoers until your long-suffering has tempted them from returning, and your forbearance has deterred them. Rather, you were patient with them so that they would obey your command, and you gave them confidence in the perpetuation of your kingdom, so whoever was among the people of happiness, you sealed him with it, and If he was one of the people of misery, she let him down for her. All of themThey are willing to submit to your rule, and their affairs are subject to your command. Your authority has not weakened throughout their time, and their abandonment of confrontation has not been refuted by your proof. You are an established entity that cannot be refuted, and your authority is firm and will not fade away, so perpetual woe is to whoever deviates from you, and humiliating disappointment to whoever is disappointed in you, and terrible misery. Protect those who are deceived by you How severe his behavior is in your torment, how long his hesitation regarding your punishment, how far his goal is from relief, and how despairing he is of the ease of a just way out. Your judgment is not unjust, and you are fair in your ruling and do not be unfair to it. The proofs have appeared, the excuses have been eliminated, you have presented the threat, and you have been kind. Desire to desire, You gave proverbs, extended deadlines, and delayed things even though you were able to expedite them.And you were patient, full of initiative. Your patience was not incapacity, nor was your forbearance weakness, nor was your keeping in heedless, nor was your waiting out of deceit, but rather for the sake of And your argument is more eloquent, your generosity is more complete, your benevolence is more complete, and your grace is more complete. All of that was and continues to be, and it is and your argument is still more important. N To be described in all of them, and your glory is too high to be limited in its essence, and your grace is too great to be counted in its entirety, and your benevolence is too great to be doubted. Have mercy on the least of it, and my silence has failed me in praising You, and guide me to abstaining from glorifying You, and my most confession is in sadness, not out of desire, O my God. Rather, incapacity, so here I am I send you a message, and I ask you for good guidance, so bless Muhammad and his family, and listen to my conversations, and respond.My supplication, and do not end my day with my disappointment, and do not answer me by answering my question, and be generous from Yourself when I turn away, and to You is my turning, for you are not distressed by what You do not want, nor are you unable to do what you ask, and you are capable of all things, and there is no power or strength except in God, the Most High, the Great.
دعاء يا من يرحم من لا يرحمه العباد في يوم الجمعة بِسْمِ الله الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ يَا مَنْ يَرْحَمُ مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمُهُ الْعِبَادُ وَيَا مَنْ يَقْبَلُ مَنْ لَا تَقْبَلُهُ الْبِلَادُ وَيَا مَنْ لَا يَحْتَقِرُ أَهْلَ الْحَاجَةِ إِلَيْهِ وَيَا مَنْ لَا يُخَيِّبُ الْمُلِحِّينَ عَلَيْهِ. وَيَا مَنْ لَا يَجْبَهُ بِالرَّدِّ أَهْلَ الدَّالَّةِ عَلَيْهِ وَيَا مَنْ يَجْتَبِي صَغِيرَ مَا يُتْحَفُ بِهِ، وَيَشْكُرُ يَسِيرَ مَا يُعْمَلُ لَهُ وَيَا مَنْ يَشْكُرُ عَلَى الْقَلِيلِ وَيُجَازِي بِالْجَلِيلِ وَيَا مَنْ يَدْنُو إِلَى مَنْ دَنَا مِنْهُ وَيَا مَنْ يَدْعُو إِلَى نَفْسِهِ مَنْ أَدْبَرَ عَنْهُ وَيَا مَنْ لَا يُغَيِّرُ النِّعْمَةَ، وَلَا يُبَادِرُ بِالنَّقِمَةِ وَيَا مَنْ يُثْمِرُ الْحَسَنَةَ حَتَّى يُنْمِيَهَا، وَيَتَجَاوَزُ عَنِ السَّيِّئَةِ حَتَّى يُعَفِّيَهَا انْصَرَفَتِ الْآمَالُ دُونَ مَدَى كَرَمِكَ بِالْحَاجَاتِ، وَامْتَلَأَتْ بِفَيْضِ جُودِكَ أَوْعِيَةُ الطَّلِبَاتِ، وَتَفَسَّخَتْ دُونَ بُلُوغِ نَعْتِكَ الصِّفَاتُ، فَلَكَ الْعُلُوُّ الْأَعْلَى فَوْقَ كُلِّ عَالٍ، وَالْجَلَالُ الْأَمْجَدُ فَوْقَ كُلِّ جَلَالٍ كُلُّ جَلِيلٍ عِنْدَكَ صَغِيرٌ، وَكُلُّ شَرِيفٍ فِي جَنْبِ شَرَفِكَ حَقِيرٌ، خَابَ الْوَافِدُونَ عَلَى غَيْرِكَ، وَخَسِرَ الْمُتَعَرِّضُونَ إِلَّا لَكَ، وَضَاعَ الْمُلِمُّونَ إِلَّا بِكَ، وَأَجْدَبَ الْمُنْتَجِعُونَ إِلَّا مَنِ انْتَجَعَ فَضْلَكَ بَابُكَ مَفْتُوحٌ لِلرَّاغِبِينَ، وَجُودُكَ مُبَاحٌ لِلسَّائِلِينَ، وَإِغَاثَتُكَ قَرِيبَةٌ مِنَ الْمُسْتَغِيثِينَ لَا يَخِيبُ مِنْكَ الْآمِلُونَ، وَلَا يَيْأَسُ مِنْ عَطَائِكَ الْمُتَعَرِّضُونَ، وَلا يَشْقَى بِنَقِمَتِكَ الْمُسْتَغْفِرُونَ رِزْقُكَ مَبْسُوطٌ لِمَنْ عَصَاكَ، وَحِلْمُكَ مُعْتَرِضٌ لِمَنْ نَاوَاكَ، عَادَتُكَ الْإِحْسَانُ إِلَى الْمُسِيئِينَ، وَسُنَّتُكَ الْإِبْقَاءُ عَلَى الْمُعْتَدِينَ حَتَّى لَقَدْ غَرَّتْهُمْ أَنَاتُكَ عَنِ الرُّجُوعِ، وَصَدَّهُمْ إِمْهَالُكَ عَنِ النُّزُوعِ وَإِنَّمَا تَأَنَّيْتَ بِهِمْ لِيَفِيئُوا إِلَى أَمْرِكَ، وَأَمْهَلْتَهُمْ ثِقَةً بِدَوَامِ مُلْكِكَ، فَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ السَّعَادَةِ خَتَمْتَ لَهُ بِهَا، وَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الشَّقَاوَةِ خَذَلْتَهُ لَهَا كُلُّهُمْ صَائِرُونَ، إِلَى حُكْمِكَ، وَأَمُورُهُمْ آئِلَةٌ إِلَى أَمْرِكَ، لَمْ يَهِنْ عَلَى طُولِ مُدَّتِهِمْ سُلْطَانُكَ، وَلَمْ يَدْحَضْ لِتَرْكِ مُعَاجَلَتِهِمْ بُرْهَانُكَ حُجَّتُكَ قَائِمَةٌ لَا تُدْحَضُ، وَسُلْطَانُكَ ثَابِتٌ لَا يَزُولُ، فَالْوَيْلُ الدَّائِمُ لِمَنْ جَنَحَ عَنْكَ، وَالْخَيْبَةُ الْخَاذِلَةُ لِمَنْ خَابَ مِنْكَ، وَالشَّقَاءُ الْأَشْقَى لِمَنِ اغْتَرَّ بِكَ مَا أَكْثَرَ تَصَرُّفَهُ فِي عَذَابِكَ، وَمَا أَطْوَلَ تَرَدُّدَهُ فِي عِقَابِكَ، وَمَا أَبْعَدَ غَايَتَهُ مِنَ الْفَرَجِ، وَمَا أَقْنَطَهُ مِنْ سُهُولَةِ الْمَخْرَجِ عَدْلًا مِنْ قَضَائِكَ لَا تَجُورُ فِيهِ، وَإِنْصَافاً مِنْ حُكْمِكَ لَا تَحِيفُ عَلَيْهِ فَقَدْ ظَاهَرْتَ الْحُجَجَ، وَأَبْلَيْتَ الْأَعْذَارَ، وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمْتَ بِالْوَعِيدِ، وَتَلَطَّفْتَ فِي التَّرْغِيبِ، وَضَرَبْتَ الْأَمْثَالَ، وَأَطَلْتَ الْإِمْهَالَ، وَأَخَّرْتَ وَأَنْتَ مُسْتَطِيعٌ لِلمُعَاجَلَةِ، وَتَأَنَّيْتَ وَأَنْتَ مَلِيءٌ بِالْمُبَادَرَةِ لَمْ تَكُنْ أَنَاتُكَ عَجْزاً، وَلَا إِمْهَالُكَ وَهْناً، وَلَا إِمْسَاكُكَ غَفْلَةً، وَلَا انْتِظَارُكَ مُدَارَاةً، بَلْ لِتَكُونَ حُجَّتُكَ أَبْلَغَ، وَكَرَمُكَ أَكْمَلَ، وَإِحْسَانُكَ أَوْفَى، وَنِعْمَتُكَ أَتَمَّ، كُلُّ ذَلِكَ كَانَ وَلَمْ تَزَلْ، وَهُوَ كَائِنٌ وَلَا تَزَالُ حُجَّتُكَ أَجَلُّ مِنْ أَنْ تُوصَفَ بِكُلِّهَا، وَمَجْدُكَ أَرْفَعُ مِنْ أَنْ يُحَدَّ بِكُنْهِهِ، وَنِعْمَتُكَ أَكْثَرُ مِنْ أَنْ تُحْصَى بِأَسْرِهَا، وَإِحْسَانُكَ أَكْثَرُ مِنْ أَنْ تُشْكَرَ عَلَى أَقَلِّهِ وَقَدْ قَصَّرَ بِيَ السُّكُوتُ عَنْ تَحْمِيدِكَ، وَفَهَّهَنِيَ الْإِمْسَاكُ عَنْ تَمْجِيدِكَ، وَقُصَارَايَ الْإِقْرَارُ بِالْحُسُورِ، لَا رَغْبَةً يَا إِلَهِي بَلْ عَجْزاً فَهَا أَنَا ذَا أَؤُمُّكَ بِالْوِفَادَةِ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ حُسْنَ الرِّفَادَةِ، فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ، وَاسْمَعْ نَجْوَايَ، وَاسْتَجِبْ دُعَائِي، وَلَا تَخْتِمْ يَوْمِي بِخَيْبَتِي، وَلَا تَجْبَهْنِي بِالرَّدِّ فِي مَسْأَلَتِي، وَأَكْرِمْ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ مُنْصَرَفِي، وَإِلَيْكَ مُنْقَلَبِي، إِنَّكَ غَيْرُ ضَائِقٍ بِمَا تُرِيدُ، وَلَا عَاجِزٍ عَمَّا تُسْأَلُ، وَأَنْتَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ.

In the name of God and by God I took the first two and took the others And I took the ones in charge and started to cheat Their eyes are dark, and the sky sends flames on them, and the earth is meteors, so I cheat them, for they do not see. God takes care of me and strengthens me over creation. With the light of God, I see insight and by the power of the Holy God, I seek the help of God, He gives me, and God the mighty King lifts me up on the wings of the cherubs, the friends, the pure and the rosaries God is for you, I pray, and you are God, the most merciful of the merciful, God is for you, I pray The God of the heavens and the earth is for you God I call on the God of the angels who are close to you God I call the God of all creation for you God I call the God of the sun and the moon for you God I call the God of the planets for you God I call the God of the East and the West God for you I pray for a holy God You are God the Mighty, the Mighty, the Arrogant, the Merciful, the Merciful, the Wide, His Mercy, the Creator, the chair of His greatness, the Mighty, the Great, the Galilee. Blessed be the name of God, the King of kings. These names of yours shall be mine as strength, victory, conquest, prestige, light, and greatness. You have never kept me, and you will be my preservation, salvation and success. I am your servant and the son of your servant. Your mercy deceives me, and your punishment deceives me with your pride and prestige. We deliver me from pests, as you saved Abraham, your friend, from the fire, and as Moses pressed your words, Pharaoh, and by your names, we will save me. By it and as the earth is pressed under the sky, and as the sons of Adam are pressed under the sky and under the King of death, and as the King of death is pressed under the hands of God, the Lord of the worlds, so are creatures pressed under my feet, you have never revived me, O Nasser of the Muslims, and you cry out for the crying, and you are the most merciful of the merciful, you are my protector from all your creatures, and from the children of Adam and the daughters of Eve and their followers, and from the evil of Jinn and mankind not to rob any of them Your neighbor's glory There is no god but you I stuck to the most trustworthy handhold that is inseparable from him that is not exceeded by righteousness or immorality I held fast to the strong rope of God I seek refuge in God from the evil of the immorality of Arabs and non-Arabs and from the evil of the jinn and the human and from the evil of those who want evil in me or want evil in me I trusted God And whoever trusts in God, he thinks that God has made everything a destiny God is sufficient for me in the name of God and in God I believe and in God I trust and in God I seek refuge and in God I protest and by God the Almighty I seek refuge from the accursed devil I seek refuge in the perfect words of God that are not exceeded by righteousness or wickedness from what is sown and innocent and from the evil of everything that knocks day and night Except Tariq knocks well with your mercy, O most merciful of all the merciful. O God, I seek refuge in You from the evil of myself and from the evil of every beast. You are taking His righteousness, and from the evil of every eye that is looking and ear that hears, and from the evil of every genie and mighty stubborn. O Allah, I turned my back to You, and I entrusted My affairs to You, You, my guardian and my Lord, my God. So do not deliver me up, do not let me down, and do not give me a blink to myself. Eye or TAnd take me for my sins and my extravagance on myself and I mean to thank your grace Oh Mohsen Oh Jabbar Make me a thankful slave There is no God but You, the Most High, the Great, on You I trusted, You are the Lord of the great throne There is no God but You, the Noble Halim Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, the Lord of the seven heavens and what is in them and what is above them and what is between them and the Lord of the great throne Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. Oh God, make me love all of your creatures, so that I will not have in the heart of anyone who created you a harshness and they will not oppose me, and make them receive me with simple faces, and fulfill my needs, and ask for my nurses, and fear my wrath in your holy and great greatest name. I call you, O God, O Nora, in light, and light to light, and light upon light, and light under light, and light with which every light shines, and Every darkness and extinguished by the intensity of every demon and authority And in your name which the angels spoke, so that the waves against them have no way, and by it humiliate every stubborn mighty [creatures] will be under my feet By your name, by which you named yourself and settled on your throne and on your throne In your great and greatest name, I shall have light and prestige for all creation by your holy and blessed names, you are the horse The Generous, the Mighty, the Mighty, the Arrogant, the Great There is no God but You, Oh God, everything and his heir, Oh God, you are the praiseworthy in all his actions, Oh Most Merciful, Oh There is no God but You, the Most High in His Majesty, Oh God, the Most Merciful Above his sky with his power, Oh the Subsistent, he does not miss a thing of his creation, oh the last, the rest, the first of everything and the end, you are permanent, without annihilation, and there is no demise of his queen, Oh Samad, without a lookalike, nothing is like him, oh the principle of everything, and a repeater, you who do not describe the prescribers, but he is majesty in his queenship, glory and might, oh great You are the one whose minds are not guided by his attribute in his greatness, you emitter, you builder without example O Zaki who is pure from every scourge, O enough expander of what he created from the gifts of his bounty that does not run out, O pure [pure] from all evil that has not been mixed with him effectively, O mighty, you who have expanded everything, his mercy, O Hanan, O Manan, O the majesty and honor, you who have pervaded the creatures from him and his bounty, O judge of servants, and everyone rises subject to his prestige, O Creator of what is in the heavens and The two lands and each has his time Oh merciful every screaming and anguished Oh the truthful of the promise, do not describe the tongues Jalal is his queen and glory Oh the principle of Badaa'A He did not seek to create it to help anyone who created him Oh world of the unseen, he does not miss anything of his creations Oh assistant I will not perish if the creatures appear to call him from his fear Oh Halima this is selfish Nothing is equivalent to him from his creations Oh Hamid who is effective in his creation with his kindness Oh Aziz is the one who is the one who is on his order there is nothingEquivalent to it, O Zahir [conqueror] severe oppression whose revenge is unbearable, O high, near in its height, height, and whirlpool O tenderness, O Manan, nothing conquers His authority, O light of everything and guide him You are the one who lit up darkness with his light, O Holy One, the Immaculate, for nothing is like Him, O relative of the low respondent Without everything, O high, lofty in the sky, above everything, His height and elevation, O wonderful Badaea and its repeater after its annihilation with his ability Oh King Oh ? Oh who is just is his command and honesty is his promise Oh Mahmuda in his actions Do not reach illusions But he is majesty in his kingdom and glory Oh generous Pardon you are the one who filled everything with justice and virtue Oh great pride and pride He does not realize the glory of his kingdom Oh strange so that tongues do not pronounce with all his pains and praise I ask you Oh May Allah protect us from your punishment in this world and the hereafter, and I ask you for light, victory, and elevation for all your creatures, including the sons of Adam and the daughters of Eve, the Lord of mortal spirits, worn bodies, and high spirits, and I ask you to obey the healed veins to their places, and to obey the cracked graves from their people, and to pray sincerely in them, and to take the truth from them, if creatures emerge, they are from Your fear and the strength of your power await your judgment, fear your torment, and beg for your mercy. Make me one of the winning close people, and cast upon me love, light, grace and prestige. Make me one of those who listen to my words and raise my order over every matter. I am your servant and your poor servant's son. To your mercy, make me . Oh God, high and transcendent, Oh light of light, O lamp of light, I turn you in their throats, and I seek refuge in you from their evils, and I seek help from you against them, so suffice me with their affairs without power, and there is no power except in you, O Almighty God, if it arises, we will descend on them from heaven, a sign, and their necks will remain humble to him, for the messengers of your Lord will not reach you, Moses, accept and do not be afraid, you are one of the believers, the books of God For most of them me and my messengers God is strong and dear Oh God with your glory Oh everlasting I ask you by the name that you put in the veil of light the light of the heavens and the earth illuminates the eyes of the beholders with it I am tormented by your Lordship Oh God in your name that you say to the thing be and it will be Except that I fulfilled my need, succeeded my request, facilitated my matter, covered my nakedness, believed in my magnificence, and provided me with light, consolation, prestige, acceptance and elevation to all your creatures with your power and strength, and in your name, which expanded everything and is wider than it, O everlasting survival, Adam what I am in of your grace and well-being, and make my things the first of them good and the last of which is a farmer with your mercy, O most merciful of all Then pray for what you love, for it will be answered hopefully Almighty and may God's prayers be upon the Master of the Messengers, Muhammad the Prophet and his family, the good, the pure, the good, the virtuous, the rulers, the just, the blossoms.He changed the Mayamin and handed him a delivery.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَ بِاللَّهِ أَخَذْتُ الْأَوَّلِينَ وَ أَخَذْتُ الْآخِرِينَ وَ أَخَذْتُ الْقَائِمِينَ وَ أَخَذْتُ الْقَاعِدِينَ تَغْشَى أَبْصَارَهُمْ ظُلْمَةٌ وَ تُرْسِلُ السَّمَاءُ عَلَيْهِمْ لَهَباً وَ الْأَرْضُ شُهُباً فَأَغْشَيْنٰاهُمْ فَهُمْ لٰا يُبْصِرُونَ اللَّهُ يَرْعَانِي وَ يُقَوِّينِي عَلَى الْخَلْقِ بِنُورِ اللَّهِ أَسْتَبْصِرُ وَ بِقُوَّةِ اللَّهِ الْقُدُّوسِ أَسْتَعِينُ اللَّهَ يُعْطِينِي وَ اللَّهُ الْمَلِكُ الْجَبَّارُ يَرْفَعُنِي عَلَى أَجْنِحَةِ الْكَرُوبِيِّينَ وَ الصِّدِّيقِينَ وَ الصَّافِّينَ وَ الْمُسَبِّحِينَ لَكَ اللَّهُ أَدْعُو وَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ لَكَ اللَّهُ أَدْعُو إِلَهَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ لَكَ اللَّهُ أَدْعُو إِلَهَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ لَكَ اللَّهُ أَدْعُو إِلَهَ الْخَلْقِ أَجْمَعِينَ لَكَ اللَّهُ أَدْعُو إِلَهَ الشَّمْسِ وَ الْقَمَرِ لَكَ اللَّهُ أَدْعُو إِلَهَ الْكَوَاكِبِ لَكَ اللَّهُ أَدْعُو إِلَهَ الْمَشَارِقِ وَ الْمَغَارِبِ لَكَ اللَّهُ أَدْعُو إِلَهاً مُقَدَّساً أَنْتَ اللَّهُ الْعَزِيزُ الْجَبَّارُ الْمُتَكَبِّرُ الرَّحْمَنُ الرَّحِيمُ الْوَاسِعَةُ رَحْمَتُهُ الْخَالِقُ كُرْسِيَّ عَظَمَتِهِ الْعَزِيزُ الْعَظِيمُ الْجَلِيلُ تَبَارَكَ اسْمُ اللَّهِ مَلِكُ الْمُلُوكِ تَكُونُ أَسْمَاؤُكَ هَذِهِ لِي عَضُداً وَ نَصْراً وَ فَتْحاً وَ هَيْبَةً وَ نُوراً وَ عَظَمَةً أَبَداً مَا أَبْقَيْتَنِي وَ تَكُونُ لِي حِفْظاً وَ خَلَاصاً وَ نَجَاحاً أَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَ ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ تَغْشَانِي رَحْمَتُكَ وَ يَغْشَانِي عِقَابُكَ بِعِزَّتِكَ وَ هَيْبَتِكَ نَجِّنِي مِنَ الْآفَاتِ كَمَا نَجَّيْتَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلَكَ مِنَ النَّارِ وَ كَمَا كَبَسَ مُوسَى كَلِيمُكَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَ بِأَسْمَائِكَ هَذِهِ فَنَجِّنِي بِهَا وَ كَمَا الْأَرْضُ مَكْبُوسَةٌ تَحْتَ السَّمَاءِ وَ كَمَا بَنُو آدَمَ مَكْبُوسُونَ تَحْتَ السَّمَاءِ وَ تَحْتَ مَلَكِ الْمَوْتِ وَ كَمَا مَلَكُ الْمَوْتِ مَكْبُوسٌ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ كَذَلِكَ يَكُونُ الْخَلَائِقُ مَكْبُوسِينَ تَحْتَ قَدَمَيَّ أَبَداً مَا أَحْيَيْتَنِي يَا نَاصِرَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَ يَا صَرِيخَ الْمُسْتَصْرِخِينَ وَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ أَنْتَ لِي حِرْزٌ مِنْ جَمِيعِ خَلْقِكَ وَ مِنْ بَنِي آدَمَ وَ بَنَاتِ حَوَّاءَ وَ أَتْبَاعِهِمْ وَ مِنْ شَرِّ الْجِنِّ وَ الْإِنْسِ أَنْ لَا يَسْطُوَ عَلَيَّ أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ عَزَّ جَارُكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ تَمَسَّكْتُ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقىٰ الَّتِي لَا انْفِصٰامَ لَهٰا الَّتِي لَا يُجَاوِزُهَا بَرٌّ وَ لَا فَاجِرٌ اعْتَصَمْتُ بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ الْمَتِينِ أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شَرِّ فَسَقَةِ الْعَرَبِ وَ الْعَجَمِ وَ مِنْ شَرِّ الْجِنِّ وَ الْإِنْسِ وَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَنْ يُرِيدُ بِي سُوءً أَوْ يُرِيدُ بِي شَرّاً تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ وَ مَنْ يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللّٰهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ إِنَّ اللّٰهَ بٰالِغُ أَمْرِهِ قَدْ جَعَلَ اللّٰهُ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدْراً حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَ بِاللَّهِ أُومِنُ وَ بِاللَّهِ أَثِقُ وَ بِاللَّهِ أَتَعَوَّذُ وَ بِاللَّهِ أَعْتَصِمُ وَ بِاللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ أَسْتَجِيرُ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ الَّتِي لَا يُجَاوِزُهُنَّ بَرٌّ وَ لَا فَاجِرٌ مِمَّا ذَرَأَ وَ بَرَأَ وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ مَا يَطْرُقُ بِاللَّيْلِ وَ النَّهَارِ إِلَّا طَارِقاً يَطْرُقُ بِخَيْرٍ بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ أَنْتَ آخِذٌ بِنٰاصِيَتِهٰا وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ نَاظِرَةٍ وَ أُذُنٍ سَامِعَةٍ وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ مَارِدٍ وَ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَلْجَأْتُ ظَهْرِي إِلَيْكَ وَ تَوَكَّلْتُ فِي أُمُورِي عَلَيْكَ أَنْتَ وَلِيِّي وَ مَوْلَايَ إِلَهِي فَلَا تُسَلِّمْنِي وَ لَا تَخْذُلْنِي وَ لَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ وَ لَا تُؤَاخِذْنِي بِذُنُوبِي وَ إِسْرَافِي عَلَى نَفْسِي وَ أَعِنِّي عَلَى شُكْرِ نِعْمَتِكَ يَا مُحْسِنُ يَا جَبَّارُ اجْعَلْنِي عَبْداً شَكُوراً لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ أَنْتَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الْحَلِيمُ الْكَرِيمُ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ رَبِّ السَّمَاوَاتِ السَّبْعِ وَ مَا فِيهِنَّ وَ مَا فَوْقَهُنَّ وَ مَا بَيْنَهُنَّ وَ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعٰالَمِينَ اللَّهُمَّ حَبِّبْنِي إِلَى جَمِيعِ خَلْقِكَ حَتَّى لَا يَكُونَ لِي فِي قَلْبِ أَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ غِلْظَةٌ وَ لَا يُعَارِضُونِّي وَ اجْعَلْهُمْ يَسْتَقْبِلُونِّي بِوُجُوهٍ بَسِيطَةٍ وَ يَقْضُونَ حَوَائِجِي وَ يَطْلُبُونَ مَرْضَاتِي وَ يَخْشَوْنَ سَخَطِي بِاسْمِكَ الْقُدُّوسِ الْعَظِيمِ الْأَعْظَمِ أَدْعُوكَ يَا اللَّهُ يَا نُوراً فِي نُورٍ وَ نُوراً إِلَى نُورٍ وَ نُوراً فَوْقَ نُورٍ وَ نُوراً تَحْتَ نُورٍ وَ نُوراً يُضِيءُ بِهِ كُلُّ نُورٍ وَ كُلُّ ظُلْمَةٍ وَ يُطْفَى بِهِ شِدَّةُ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَ سُلْطَانٍ وَ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذِي تَكَلَّمَ بِهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ فَلَا يَكُونُ لِلْمَوْجِ عَلَيْهِمْ سَبِيلٌ وَ بِهِ يَذِلُّ كُلُّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ يَكُونُ [الْخَلَائِقُ] تَحْتَ قَدَمَيَّ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذِي سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ وَ اسْتَقْرَرْتَ بِهِ عَلَى عَرْشِكَ وَ عَلَى كُرْسِيِّكَ بِاسْمِكَ الْعَظِيمِ الْأَعْظَمِ يَكُونُ لِي نُوراً وَ هَيْبَةً عِنْدَ جَمِيعِ الْخَلْقِ بِأَسْمَائِكَ الْمُقَدَّسَةِ الْمُبَارَكَةِ أَنْتَ الْجَوَادُ الْكَرِيمُ الْعَزِيزُ الْجَبَّارُ الْمُتَكَبِّرُ الْعَظِيمُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ يَا رَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَ وَارِثَهُ يَا اللَّهُ أَنْتَ الْمَحْمُودُ فِي كُلِّ فِعَالِهِ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ يَا لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الرَّفِيعُ فِي جَلَالِهِ يَا اللَّهُ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ يَا رَحْمَانَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَ رَاحِمَهُ يَا مُمِيتَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَ وَارِثَهُ يَا حَيُّ حِينَ لَا حَيَّ فِي دَيْمُومِيَّةِ مُلْكِهِ وَ بَقَائِهِ يَا رَافِعُ الْمُرْتَفِعُ فَوْقَ سَمَائِهِ بِقُدْرَتِهِ يَا قَيُّومُ لَا يَفُوتُهُ شَيْءٌ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ يَا آخِرُ يَا بَاقِي يَا أَوَّلَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَ آخِرَهُ يَا دَائِمُ بِغَيْرِ فَنَاءٍ وَ لَا زَوَالٍ لِمُلْكِهِ يَا صَمَدُ مِنْ غَيْرِ شَبِيهٍ فَلَا شَيْءَ كَمِثْلِهِ يَا مُبْدِئَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَ مُعِيدَهُ يَا مَنْ لَا يَصِفُ الْوَاصِفُونَ كُنْهَ جَلَالِهِ فِي مُلْكِهِ وَ عِزِّهِ وَ جَبَرُوتِهِ يَا كَبِيرُ أَنْتَ الَّذِي لَا تَهْتَدِي الْعُقُولُ لِصِفَتِهِ فِي عَظَمَتِهِ يَا بَاعِثُ يَا مُنْشِئُ بِلَا مِثَالٍ يَا زَاكِي الطَّاهِرُ مِنْ كُلِّ آفَةٍ يَا كَافِي الْمُتَوَسِّعُ لِمَا خَلَقَ مِنْ عَطَايَا فَضْلِهِ الَّذِي لَا يَنْفَدُ يَا نَقِيُّ [نَقِيّاً] مِنْ كُلِّ سُوءٍ لَمْ يُخَالِطْهُ فِعَالُهُ يَا جَبَّارُ أَنْتَ الَّذِي وَسِعَتْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَحْمَتُهُ يَا حَنَّانُ يَا مَنَّانُ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَ الْإِكْرَامِ أَنْتَ الَّذِي قَدْ عَمَّ الْخَلَائِقَ مَنُّهُ وَ فَضْلُهُ يَا دَيَّانَ الْعِبَادِ وَ كُلٌّ يَقُومُ خَاضِعاً لِهَيْبَتِهِ يَا خَالِقَ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرَضِينَ وَ كُلٌّ إِلَيْهِ مِيعَادُهُ يَا رَحِيمَ كُلِّ صَرِيخٍ وَ مَكْرُوبٍ يَا صَادِقَ الْوَعْدِ فَلَا تَصِفُ الْأَلْسُنُ جَلَالَ مُلْكِهِ وَ عِزِّهِ يَا مُبْدِئَ الْبَدَائِعِ لَمْ يَبْتَغِ فِي إِنْشَائِهَا عَوْنَ أَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ يَا عَالِمَ الْغُيُوبِ فَلَا يَفُوتُهُ شَيْءٌ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ يَا مُعِيدَ مَا أَفْنَى إِذَا بَرَزَ الْخَلَائِقُ لِدَعْوَتِهِ مِنْ مَخَافَتِهِ يَا حَلِيماً ذَا أَنَاةٍ فَلَا شَيْءَ يُعَادِلُهُ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ يَا حَمِيدَ الْفِعَالِ فِي خَلْقِهِ بِلُطْفِهِ يَا عَزِيزُ الْغَالِبُ عَلَى أَمْرِهِ فَلَا شَيْءَ يُعَادِلُهُ يَا ظَاهِرَ [قَاهِرَ] الْبَطْشِ الشَّدِيدِ الَّذِي لَا يُطَاقُ انْتِقَامُهُ يَا عَالِي الْقَرِيبُ فِي عُلُوِّهِ وَ ارْتِفَاعِهِ وَ دَوَامِهِ يَا حَنَّانُ يَا مَنَّانُ فَلَا شَيْءَ يَقْهَرُ سُلْطَانَهُ يَا نُورَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَ هُدَاهُ أَنْتَ الَّذِي أَضَاءَتِ الظُّلْمَةُ بِنُورِهِ يَا قُدُّوسُ الطَّاهِرُ فَلَا شَيْءَ كَمِثْلِهِ يَا قَرِيبُ الْمُجِيبُ الْمُتَدَانِي دُونَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ يَا عَالِي الشَّامِخُ فِي السَّمَاءِ فَوْقَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ عُلُوُّهُ وَ ارْتِفَاعُهُ يَا بَدِيعَ الْبَدَائِعِ وَ مُعِيدَهَا بَعْدَ فَنَائِهَا بِقُدْرَتِهِ يَا مَلِكُ يَا مُتَكَبِّرُ يَا مَنِ الْعَدْلُ أَمْرُهُ وَ الصِّدْقُ وَعْدُهُ يَا مَحْمُوداً فِي أَفْعَالِهِ فَلَا تَبْلُغُ الْأَوْهَامُ كُنْهَ جَلَالِهِ فِي مُلْكِهِ وَ عِزِّهِ يَا كَرِيمَ الْعَفْوِ أَنْتَ الَّذِي مَلَأَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عَدْلُهُ وَ فَضْلُهُ يَا عَظِيمَ الْمَفَاخِرِ وَ الْكِبْرِيَاءِ فَلَا يُدْرَكُ عِزُّ مُلْكِهِ يَا عَجِيبُ فَلَا تَنْطِقُ الْأَلْسُنُ بِكُلِّ آلَائِهِ وَ ثَنَائِهِ أَسْأَلُكَ يَا اللَّهُ أَمَاناً مِنْ عُقُوبَتِكَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ وَ أَسْأَلُكَ نُوراً وَ نَصْراً وَ رِفْعَةً عِنْدَ جَمِيعِ خَلْقِكَ مِنْ بَنِي آدَمَ وَ بَنَاتِ حَوَّاءَ رَبَّ الْأَرْوَاحِ الْفَانِيَةِ وَ الْأَجْسَادِ الْبَالِيَةِ وَ الْأَرْوَاحِ الْمُرْتَفِعَةِ وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِطَاعَةِ الْعُرُوقِ الْمُلْتَئِمَةِ إِلَى أَمَاكِنِهَا وَ بِطَاعَةِ الْقُبُورِ الْمُتَشَقِّقَةِ عَنْ أَهْلِهَا وَ بِدَعْوَتِكَ الصَّادِقَةِ فِيهِمْ وَ أَخْذِكَ الْحَقَّ مِنْهُمْ إِذَا بَرَزَ الْخَلَائِقُ فَهُمْ مِنْ مَخَافَتِكَ وَ شِدَّةِ سُلْطَانِكَ يَنْتَظِرُونَ قَضَاءَكَ وَ يَخَافُونَ عَذَابَكَ وَ يَرْجُونَ رَحْمَتَكَ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ الْفَائِزِينَ وَ أَلْقِ عَلَيَّ مَحَبَّةً وَ نُوراً وَ نِعْمَةً وَ هَيْبَةً وَ اجْعَلْنِي مِمَّنْ يُسْمَعُ قَوْلِي وَ يُرْفَعُ أَمْرِي عَلَى كُلِّ أَمْرٍ أَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَ ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ الْفَقِيرُ إِلَى رَحْمَتِكَ اجْعَلْنِي اللَّهُمَّ عَالِياً مُتَعَالِياً يَا نُورَ النُّورِ يَا مِصْبَاحَ النُّورِ أَدْرَأُ بِكَ فِي نُحُورِهِمْ وَ أَسْتَعِيذُ بِكَ مِنْ شُرُورِهِمْ وَ أَسْتَعِينُ بِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ فَاكْفِنِي أَمْرَهُمْ بِلَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِكَ يَا اللَّهُ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ إِنْ نَشَأْ نُنَزِّلْ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ السَّمٰاءِ آيَةً فَظَلَّتْ أَعْنٰاقُهُمْ لَهٰا خٰاضِعِينَ إِنّٰا رُسُلُ رَبِّكَ لَنْ يَصِلُوا إِلَيْكَ يٰا مُوسىٰ أَقْبِلْ وَ لٰا تَخَفْ إِنَّكَ مِنَ الْآمِنِينَ كَتَبَ اللّٰهُ لَأَغْلِبَنَّ أَنَا وَ رُسُلِي إِنَّ اللّٰهَ قَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ اللَّهُمَّ بِعِزَّتِكَ يَا دَائِمَ الْبَقَاءِ أَسْأَلُكَ بِالاسْمِ الَّذِي أَحَطْتَهُ بِحِجَابِ النُّورِ نُورِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ تُضِيءُ بِهِ أَبْصَارُ النَّاظِرِينَ عُذْتُ بِرُبُوبِيَّتِكَ يَا اللَّهُ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذِي تَقُولُ بِهِ لِلشَّيْءِ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ إِلَّا قَضَيْتَ حَاجَتِي وَ أَنْجَحْتَ طَلِبَتِي وَ يَسَّرْتَ أَمْرِي وَ سَتَرْتَ عَوْرَتِي وَ آمَنْتَ رَوْعَتِي وَ رَزَقْتَنِي نُوراً وَ عِزّاً وَ هَيْبَةً وَ قَبُولًا وَ رِفْعَةً عِنْدَ جَمِيعِ خَلْقِكَ بِحَوْلِكَ وَ قُوَّتِكَ وَ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذِي وَسِعَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ وَ هُوَ أَوْسَعُ مِنْهُ يَا دَائِمَ الْبَقَاءِ أَدِمْ مَا أَنَا فِيهِ مِنْ نِعْمَتِكَ وَ عَافِيَتِكَ وَ اجْعَلْ أُمُورِي أَوَّلَهَا صَلَاحاً وَ آخِرَهَا فَلَاحاً بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ
wa `ala ali baytika
Peace be upon you, O argument of Allah in His lands!
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ ٱللَّهِ فِي أَرْضِهِ
alttayyibina alttahirina
Peace be upon you, O sight of Allah on His creatures!
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا عَيْنَ ٱللَّهِ فِي خَلْقِهِ
alssalamu `alayka
Peace be upon you, O light of Allah
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نُورَ ٱللَّهِ
`ajjala allahu laka ma wa`adaka
by which those who have been guided [to the true guidance] are guided
ٱلَّذِي يَهْتَدِي بِهِ ٱلْمُهْتَدُونَ
mina alnnasri wa zuhuri al-amri
and by which the believers are relieved!
وَيُفَرَّجُ بِهِ عَنِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
alssalamu `alayka ya mawlaya
Peace be upon you, O polite and fearful!
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُهَذَّبُ ٱلْخَائِفُ
ana mawlaka
Peace be upon you, O sincere patron!
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا ٱلْوَلِيُّ ٱلنَّاصِحُ
`arifun bi'ulaka wa ukhraka
Peace be upon you, O ark of salvation!
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا سَفِينَةَ ٱلنَّجَاةِ
ataqarrabu ila allahi ta`ala bika wa bi-ali baytika
Peace be upon you, O essence of life!
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا عَيْنَ ٱلْحَيَاةِ
wa antaziru zuhuraka wa zuhura alhaqqi `ala yadayka
Peace be upon you.
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ
wa as'alu allaha an yusalliya `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin
May Allah send blessings to you
صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ
wa an yaj`alani mina almuntazirina laka
and upon your Household,
وَعَلَىٰ آلِ بَيْتِكَ
walttabi`ina walnnasirina laka `ala a`da'ika
the pure and immaculate.
ٱلطَّيِّبينَ ٱلطَّاهِرِينَ
walmustash-hadina bayna yadayka fi jumlati awliya'ika
Peace be upon you.
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ
ya mawlaya ya sahiba alzzamani
May Allah hasten that which He has promised you;
عَجَّلَ ٱللَّهُ لَكَ مَا وَعَدَكَ
salawatu allahi `alayka
namely, victory and prevalence of your authority.
مِنَ ٱلنَّصْرِ وَظُهُورِ ٱلأَمْرِ
wa `ala ali baytika
Peace be upon you, O my master.
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ
hadha yawmu aljumu`ati
I am a servant of you
أَنَا مَوْلاَكَ
wa huwa yawmuka almutawaqqa`u fihi zuhuruka
and I recognize the first and the last of your affair.
عَارِفٌ بِأُولاَكَ وَأُخْرَاكَ
walfaraju fihi lilmu'minina `ala yadayka
I seek nearness to Allah, the Exalted, through your Household and you
أَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَىٰ ٱللَّهِ تَعَالَىٰ بِكَ وَبِآلِ بَيْتِكَ
wa qatlu alkafirina bisayfika
and I am expecting your advent and the prevalence of the truth at your hands.
وَأَنْتَظِرُ ظُهُورَكَ وَظُهُورَ ٱلْحَقِّ عَلَىٰ يَدَيْكَ
wa ana ya mawlaya fihi dayfuka wa jaruka
And I beseech Allah to send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
وَأَسْأَلُ ٱللَّهَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
wa anta ya mawlaya karimun min awladi alkirami
and to include me with those who are expecting you,
وَأَنْ يَجْعَلَنِي مِنَ ٱلمُنْتَظِرِينَ لَكَ
wa ma'murun bilddiyafati wal-ijarati
those who follow you and support you against your enemies,
وَٱلتَّابِعِينَ وَٱلنَّاصِرِينَ لَكَ عَلَىٰ أَعْدَائِكَ
fa-adifni wa ajirni
and those who will be martyred in front of you in the group of your loyalists.
وَٱلْمُسْتَشْهَدِينَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ فِي جُمْلَةِ أَوْلِيَائِكَ
salawatu allahi `alayka
O my master, O Patron of the Age!
يَا مَوْلاَيَ يَا صَاحِبَ ٱلزَّمَانِ
wa `ala ahli baytika alttahirina
May Allah’s blessings be upon you
صَلَوَاتُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكَ
la ilaha illa allahu
and upon your Household.
وَعَلَىٰ آلِ بَيْتِكَ
wallahu akbaru
Today is Friday,
هٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْجُمُعَةِ
wa subhana allahi
which is your day on which your advent is expected
وَهُوَ يَوْمُكَ ٱلْمُتَوَقَّعُ فِيهِ ظُهُورُكَ
alhamdu lillahi alladhi lam yattakhidh waladan
to bring about relief to the believers at your hands,
وَٱلْفَرَجُ فِيهِ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَىٰ يَدَيْكَ
wa lam yakun lahu sharikun fi almulki
and killing of the disbelievers with your sword.
وَقَتْلُ ٱلْكَافِرِينَ بِسَيْفِكَ
wa lam yakun lahu waliyyun mina aldhdhulli
On this day, O my master, I am your guest and in your vicinity
وَأَنَا يَا مَوْلاَيَ فِيهِ ضَيْفُكَ وَجَارُكَ
wa kabbirhu takbiran
and you, my master, are generous and the descendant of the generous people,
وَأَنْتَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ كَرِيمٌ مِنْ أَوْلاَدِ ٱلْكِرَامِ
ya sabigha alnni`ami
and you are commanded to receive your guests and neighbors hospitably;
وَمَاْمُورٌ بِٱلضِّيَافَةِ وَٱلإِجَارَةِ
ya dafi`a alnniqami
so, receive me as your guest and neighbor.
فَأَضِفْنِي وَأَجِرْنِي
ya bari'a alnnasami
May Allah’s blessings be upon you
صَلَوَاتُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكَ
ya `aliyya alhimami
and upon your Household, the immaculate.
وَعَلىٰ أَهْلِ بَيْتِكَ ٱلطَّاهِرينَ
ya mughshiya alzzulami
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent and Merciful.
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ
ya dhaljudi walkarami
Glory be to Him Who has dressed with grandeur and owned it!
سُبْحَانَ مَنْ لَبِسَ الْعِزَّ وَ فَازَ بِهِ
ya kashifa alddurri wal-alami
Glory be to Him Who has deigned and condescended with grandeur!
سُبْحَانَ مَنْ تَعَطَّفَ بِالْمَجْدِ وَ تَكَرَّمَ بِهِ
ya mu'nisa almustawhishina fi alzzulami
Glory be to Him save Whom none is worthy of being glorified!
سُبْحَانَ مَنْ لَا يَنْبَغِي التَّسْبِيحُ إِلَّا لَهُ
ya `aliman la yu`allamu
Glory be to Him Whose knowledge has counted all things!
سُبْحَانَ مَنْ أَحْصَى كُلَّ شَيْءٍ بِعِلْمِهِ
salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin
Glory be to The endurance and The Most gracious!
سُبْحَانَ ذِي الطَّوْلِ وَ الْفَضْلِ
waf`al bi ma anta ahluhu
Glory be to You Who holds all abundance and bounties!
سُبْحَانَ ذِي الْمَنِّ وَ النِّعَمِ
ya man ismuhu dawa'un
Glory be to the Powerful and Generous!
سُبْحَانَ ذِي الْقُدْرَةِ وَ الْكَرَمِ
wa dhikruhu shifa'un
O Allah, I beseech You in the name of the objects of dignity in Your Throne,
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِمَعَاقِدِ الْعِزِّ مِنْ عَرْشِكَ
wa ta`atuhu ghana'un
in the name of the utmost mercy in Your Book,
وَ مُنْتَهَى الرَّحْمَةِ مِنْ كِتَابِكَ
irham man ra'su malihi alrraja'u
and in the name of Your Greatest Name, Your highest remembrance,
وَ بِاسْمِكَ الْأَعْظَمِ وَ ذِكْرِكَ الْأَعْلَى
wa silahuhu albuka'u
and Your Accomplished Words.
وَ بِكَلِمَاتِكَ التَّامَّةِ
subhanaka la ilaha illa anta
And Your words became perfected in truth and justice.
وَ تَمَّتْ كَلِمَاتُكَ صِدْقاً وَ عَدْلًا
ya hannanu ya mannanu
None can change Thy words;
لَا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَاتِكَ
ya badi`a alssamawati wal-ardi
indeed You are The noble and wise!
[ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ [الْكَرِيمُ
ya dhaljalali wal-ikrami
O, The Possessor of Majesty and Grace;
يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَ الْإِكْرَامِ
allahumma ij`al salawatika
I beseech you in the name of The requests that are made to you which nothing can match it,
أَسْأَلُكَ بِمَا لَا يَعْدِلُهُ شَيْءٌ مِنْ مَسَائِلِكَ
wa salata mala'ikatika wa rusulika
To bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin
and make for my relief and exit regarding my affair,
وَ تَجْعَلَ لِي مِنْ أَمْرِي فَرَجاً وَ مَخْرَجاً
allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin wa `ajjil farajahum
and is possible for me enough means of livelihood with easiness and good health from you!
وَ أَنْ تُوَسِّعَ عَلَيَّ رِزْقِي فِي يُسْرٍ مِنْكَ وَ عَافِيَةٍ
allahumma ij`alni min ahli aljannati
Glory be to the Living, the Self-Subsistent, and the most Forbearing!
سُبْحَانَ الْحَيِّ [الْقَيُّومِ] الْحَلِيمِ
allati hashwuha albarakatu
Glory be to The wise and Noble!
سُبْحَانَ الْحَكِيمِ [الْحَلِيمِ] الْكَرِيمِ
wa `ummaruha almala'ikatu
Glory be to the awakener and Successor!
سُبْحَانَ الْبَاعِثِ الْوَارِثِ
ma`a nabiyyina muhammadin
Glory be to Allah the Most High and the Incomparably Great!
سُبْحَانَ [اللهِ] الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ
salla allahu `alayhi wa alihi
Glory be to Him, and (all) the praise be to Him!
سُبْحَانَهُ وَ بِحَمْدِهِ
wa abina ibrahima `alayhi alssalamu
O Allah, Send Blessings upon Muhammed and the household Of Muhammed;
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin wa `ajjil farajahum
as You bestowed blessings, increase, and mercy upon Ibrahim
كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ وَ بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ
allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin
and the progeny of Ibrahim, indeed You are the praised and the glorious!
وَ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
al-awsiya'i almardiyyina
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate.
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bi-afdali salawatika
There is no might nor power except with Allah, the Highest, the Mighty;
لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ
wa barik `alayhim
Allah, the Lord of the angels, Spirits, Prophets, and Messengers,
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ الْمَلَائِكَةِ وَ الرُّوحِ وَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
bi-afdali barakatika
Subduer of those in the heavens and earth,
وَ قَاهِرَ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرَضِينَ
wa alssalamu `alayhim
Creator of all things, and their King.
وَ خَالِقَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَ مَالِكَهُ
wa `ala arwahihim wa ajsadihim
Protect me from our enemies' might, whether human or Jinn,
كُفَّ عَنَّا بَأْسَ أَعْدَائِنَا وَ مَنْ أَرَادَ بِنَا سُؤاً مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَ الْإِنْسِ
wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu
blind their sight and hearts,
وَ أَعْمِ أَبْصَارَهُمْ وَ قُلُوبَهُمْ
salawatu allahi wa mala'ikatihi
and make between them and us a guard, a barrier, and a defense.
وَ اجْعَلْ بَيْنَنَا وَ بَيْنَهُمْ حِجَاباً وَ حَرَساً وَ مَدْفَعاً
wa anbiya'ihi wa rusulihi
Surely You are the defenser Lord. There is no might nor power except with You.
إِنَّكَ رَبُّنَا لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ لَنَا إِلَّا بِاللهِ عَلَيْهِ
wa jami`i khalqihi
In You we trust; to You, we turn.
تَوَكَّلْنَا وَ إِلَيْهِ أَنَبْنَا
`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin
You are the Mighty, the Wise.
وَ هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
walssalamu `alayhi wa `alayhim
Therefore, protect us from the evil of every creature
رَبَّنَا عَافِنَا مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ سُوؤٍ وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ
wa `ala arwahihim wa ajsadihim
You have taken by the forelock,
أَنْتَ آخِذٌ بِناصِيَتِها
wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu
the evil of what inhabits the night and day,
وَ مِنْ شَرِّ ما سَكَنَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَ النَّهارِ
allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin
and evil of every evil thing.
وَ مِنْ [شَرِّ] كُلِّ سُوؤٍ وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ ذِي شَرٍّ
al-awsya'i almardiyyina
May it be so, O Lord of the Worlds, and bless Muhammad, the Prophet of mercy, and his pure family
رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ وَ إِلَهَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ أَجْمَعِينَ
bi-afdali salawatika
and companions, especially Muhammed and his family.
وَ أَوْلِيَائِكَ وَ خُصَّ مُحَمَّداً وَ آلَهُ بِأَتَمِّ ذَلِكَ
wa barik `alayhim
And there is no strength or power, except for Allah, the high and the mighty.
وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ
bi-afdali barakatika
In the name of Allah; by Allah, I believe; by Allah, I seek protection;
بِسْمِ اللهِ وَ بِاللهِ أُومِنُ وَ بِاللهِ أَعُوذُ وَ بِاللهِ
wa alssalamu `alayhi wa `alayhim
by Allah, hold fast; by Allah, I seek sanctuary.
أَعْتَصِمُ وَ بِاللهِ أَسْتَجِيرُ وَ بِعِزَّةِ اللهِ
wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu
I repel against Satan of humans and Jinn,
وَ مَنَعَتِهِ أَمْتَنِعُ مِنْ شَيَاطِينِ الْإِنْسِ وَ الْجِنِّ
astaghfiru allaha wa atubu ilayhi
from their walkers; riders, runners, sympathy,
وَ مِنْ رَجِلِهِمْ وَ خَيْلِهِمْ وَ رَكْضِهِمْ وَ عَطْفِهِمْ
allahumma ya ajwada man a`ta
return, deceit, and evil by Allah's might and defense.
وَ رَجْعَتِهِمْ وَ كَيْدِهِمْ وَ شَرِّهِمْ وَ شَرِّ
wa ya khayra man su'ila
And the evil of what they bring beneath the night and day,
مَا يَأْتُونَ بِهِ تَحْتَ اللَّيْلِ وَ تَحْتَ النَّهَارِ
wa ya arhama man isturhima
whether far or close.
مِنَ الْبُعْدِ وَ الْقُرْبِ
allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa alihi fi al-awwalina
And the evil of the absentee, presented,
وَ مِنْ شَرِّ الْغَائِبِ وَ الْحَاضِرِ
wa salli `ala muhammadin wa alihi fi al-akhirina
witness, and visitor, whether alive and dead; endowed with eyesight and blind.
وَ الشَّاهِدِ وَ الزَّائِرِ أَحْيَاءً وَ أَمْوَاتاً أَعْمَى وَ بَصِيراً
wa salli `ala muhammadin wa alihi fi almala'i al-a`la
And the evil of the general and special, and self's tempting!
وَ مِنْ شَرِّ الْعَامَّةِ وَ الْخَاصَّةِ وَ مَنْ نَفْسٍ وَ وَسْوَسَتِهَا
wa salli `ala muhammadin wa alihi fi almursalina
And the evil of Al-Dinahesh (kind of Jinn), faint nose, taction,
وَ مِنْ شَرِّ الدَّنَاهِشِ وَ الْحِسِّ وَ اللَّمْسِ
allahumma a`ti muhammadan wa alahu
possess of Jinn and humans.
وَ وَ اللَّبْسِ وَ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَ الْإِنْسِ
alwasilata walfadilata
And by the name of this particular name which Balqees' throne shook.
وَ بِالْاِسْمِ الَّذِي اهْتَزَّ لَهُ عَرْشُ بِلْقِيسَ
walshsharafa walrrif`ata
And, I seek refuge for myself, religion, and everything that is surrounded by my consideration
وَ أُعِيذُ نَفْسِي وَ دِينِي وَ جَمِيعَ مَا تُحِيطُهُ [تَحُوطُهُ] عِنَايَتِي
walddarajata alkabirata
from the evil of every picture and imagination,
مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ صُورَةٍ وَ خِيَالٍ
allahumma inni amantu bimuhammadin
or whiteness, blackness, sculpture, alley or not.
أَوْ بَيَاضٍ أَوْ سَوَادٍ أَوْ تِمْثَالٍ أَوْ مُعَاهَدٍ أَوْ غَيْرِ
salla allahu `alayhi wa alihi wa lam arahu
From who reside in the air, clouds,
مُعَاهَدٍ مِمَّنْ يَسْكُنُ الْهَوَاءَ وَ السَّحَابَ
fala tahrimni fi alqiyamati ru'yatahu
darknesses, lights, shadows, heat,
وَ الظُّلُمَاتِ وَ النُّورَ وَ الظِّلَّ وَ الْحَرُورَ
warzuqni suhbatahu
land, seas, plains, rough roads,
وَ الْبَرَّ وَ الْبُحُورَ وَ السَّهْلَ وَ الْوُعُورَ
wa tawaffani `ala millatihi
ruins, civilization, hillocks, bushes,
وَ الْخَرَابَ وَ الْعُمْرَانَ وَ الْآكَامَ وَ الْآجَامَ
wasqini min hawdihi
jungles, churches, sarcophaguses,
وَ الْمَغَايِضَ وَ الْكَنَائِسَ وَ النَّوَاوِيسَ
mashraban rawiyyan
wilderness, and Cemeteries.
وَ الْفَلَوَاتِ وَ الْجَبَّانَاتِ
sa'ighan hani'an
The coming and going from who appears
مِنَ الصَّادِرِينَ وَ الْوَارِدِينَ مِمَّنْ يَبْدُو
la azma'u ba`dahu abadan
in the night and spreads in the day;
بِاللَّيْلِ وَ تَبْتَشِرُ [تَنْتَشِرُ] بِالنَّهَارِ
innaka `ala kulli shay'in qadirun
in the early hours of night and morning, in the morning and the evening hours,
وَ بِالْعَشِيِّ وَ الْإِبْكَارِ وَ الْغُدُوِّ وَ الْآصَالِ
allahumma inni amantu bimuhammadin
and the; suspicious, conversationalists, devils, tyrants,
وَ الْمُرِيبِينَ وَ الْأَسَامِرَةِ وَ الْأَفَاتِرَةِ وَ الْفَرَاعِنَةِ
salla allahu `alayhi wa alihi wa lam arahu
and satans, and from their; soldiers, partners,
وَ الْأَبَالِسَةِ وَ مِنْ جُنُودِهِمْ وَ أَزْوَاجِهِمْ
fa`arrifni fi aljinani wajhahu
clans, and tribes, and from their; backbiting, slandering,
وَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ وَ قَبَائِلِهِمْ وَ مِنْ هَمْزِهِمْ وَ لَمْزِهِمْ
allahumma balligh muhammadan
the defamed poem (puffing up), plotting, taking,
وَ نَفْثِهِمْ [وَ نَفْخِهِمْ] وَ وِقَاعِهِمْ وَ أَخْذِهِمْ
salla allahu `alayhi wa alihi
magic, hitting, existing, (playing),
[وَ سِحْرِهِمْ وَ ضَرْبِهِمْ وَ عَيْشِهِمْ [عَبَثِهِم
minni tahiyyatan kathiratan wa salaman
hinting, deceiving, and morals.
وَ لَمْحِهِمْ وَ احْتِيَالِهِمْ وَ أَخْلَاقِهِمْ
astaghfiru allaha
And against the evil of all; the magicians, monsters,
وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ ذِي شَرٍّ مِنَ السَّحَرَةِ وَ الْغِيلَانِ
subhana allahiwalhamdu lillahi
Um Al-Sibiaan evil and what they gave birth to and came out of them.
وَ أُمِّ الصِّبْيَانِ وَ مَا وَلَدُوا وَ مَا وَرَدُوا
wa la ilaha illa allahu wallahu akbaru
And against the evil of all that is; coming in and going out,
وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ ذِي شَرٍّ دَاخِلٍ وَ خَارِجٍ
wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahi al`aliyyi al`azimi
clashing and exposed, quiet and moving,
وَ عَارِضٍ وَ مُتَعَرِّضٍ وَ سَاكِنٍ وَ مُتَحَرِّكٍ
allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin
veins throbbing, headache, migraine, (Um-Muldim),
وَ ضَرَبَانِ عِرْقٍ وَ صُدَاعٍ وَ شَقِيقَةٍ وَ أُمِّ مِلْدَمٍ
subhana allahi wa bihamdihi
fever, triple (days of fever), quartan fever, every other day fever, shivering fever,
وَ الْحُمَّى وَ الْمُثَلَّثَةِ وَ الرِّبْعِ وَ الْغِبِّ وَ النَّافِضَةِ
subhanaka la ilaha illa anta
stiffing fever and coming in and going out evil.
وَ الصَّالِبَةِ وَ الدَّاخِلَةِ وَ الْخَارِجَةِ
ya hannanu ya mannanu
And the evil of "every crawling creature that You has taken by the forelock!
وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ أَنْتَ آخِذٌ بِناصِيَتِها
ya badi`a alssamawati wal-ardi
Surely You are on a straight path
إِنَّكَ عَلى صِراطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ
ya dhaljalali wal-ikrami
and send Allah your enormous blessings upon Muhammad and his Household,
وَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدِ
and give them abundant peace!
كَثِيراً وَ سَلَّمَ تَسْلِيماً
There is no god save Allah.
لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ
Allah is the Most Great.
وَٱللَّهُ اكْبَرُ
Glory be to Allah.
وَسُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ
All praise be to Allah Who has not taken to Himself a son
اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذي لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَداً
nor has He had any partner in sovereignty
وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي ٱلْمُلْكِ
nor does He need any to protect Him from humiliation,
وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ وَلِيٌّ مِنَ ٱلذُّلِّ
and magnify Him for His greatness and glory.
وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيـراً
O Conferrer of boon amply!
يَا سَابِغَ ٱلنِّعَمِ
O Repeller of troubles!
يَا دَافِعَ ٱلنِّقَمِ
O Maker of souls!
يَا بَارِئَ ٱلنَّسَمِ
O Sublime in determinations!
يَا عَلِيَّ ٱلْهِمَمِ
O Coverer [of daylight] with darkness!
يَا مُغْشِيَ ٱلظُّلَمِ
O Lord of magnanimity and nobility!
يَا ذَا ٱلْجُودِ وَٱلْكَرَمِ
O Remover of harm and pains!
يَا كَاشِفَ ٱلضُّرِّ وَٱلأَلَمِ
O Entertainer of those lonely in darkness!
يَا مُؤْنِسَ ٱلْمُسْتَوْحِشِينَ فِي ٱلظُّلَمِ
O All-knowing Who never needs teaching!
يَا عَالِماً لاَ يُعَلَّمُ
(Please) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
and do to me all that which befits You.
وَٱفْعَلْ بِي مَا أَنْتَ أَهْلُهُ
O He Whose Name is remedy,
يَا مَنِ ٱسْمُهُ دَوَاءٌ
the remembrance of Whom is cure,
وَذِكْرُهُ شِفَاءٌ
and the obedience to Whom is sufficiency,
وَطَاعَتُهُ غَنَاءٌ
(please) have mercy upon him whose wealth is only hope [for You]
إِرْحَمْ مَنْ رَاْسُ مَالِهِ ٱلرَّجَاءُ
and whose weapon is only weeping.
وَسِلاَحُهُ ٱلْبُكَاءُ
Glory be to You. There is no god save You.
سُبْحَانَكَ لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ
O All-tender, O All-Bestower,
يَا حَنَّانُ يَا مَنَّانُ
O Fashioner of the heavens and the earth,
يَا بَدِيعَ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَٱلأَرْضِ
O Lord of majesty and honor.
يَا ذَا ٱلْجَلاَلِ وَٱلإِكْرَامِ
O Allah, (please do) let Your blessings
اَللَّهُمَّ ٱجْعَلْ صَلاَتَكَ
and the blessings of Your angels and Messengers
وَصَلاَةَ مَلاَئكَتِكَ وَرُسُلِكَ
be on Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
O Allah, send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and hasten their Relief.
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَجِّلْ فَرَجَهُمْ
O Allah, include me with the inhabitants of Paradise
اَللَّهُمَّ ٱجْعَلْنِي مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْجَنَّةِ
whose stuffing is blessing
ٱلَّتِي حَشُوهَا ٱلْبَرَكَةُ
and whose constructors are the angels
وَعُمَّارُهَا ٱلْمَلاَئِكَةُ
with our Prophet Muhammad,
مَعَ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ
peace of Allah be upon him and his Household,
صَلَّىٰ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ
and our father Abraham, peace be upon him.
وَأَبِينَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلاَمُ
O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and hasten their Relief.
اللَّهُمُّ صَلّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَجِّلْ فَرَجَهُمْ
O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad—
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
the Successors and the pleased—
ٱلأَوْصِيَاءِ ٱلْمَرْضِيِّينَ
with the best of Your blessings,
بِأَفْضَلِ صَلَوَاتِكَ
and confer upon them
وَبَارِكْ عَلَيْهِمْ
with the best of your favors.
بِأَفْضَلِ بَرَكَاتِكَ
And peace be upon them
وَٱلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْهِمْ
and upon their souls and bodies;
وَعَلَىٰ أَرْوَاحِهِمْ وَأَجْسَادِهِمْ
and Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon them.
وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
The blessings of Allah, His angels,
صَلَوَاتُ اللّهِ وَملاَئِكَتِهِ
His prophets, His messengers,
وَأَنْبِيَائِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ
and all of His creatures
وَجَميعِ خَلْقِهِ
be upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
And peace be upon him and upon them
وَٱلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمْ
and upon their souls and bodies.
وَعَلَىٰ أَرْوَاحِهِمْ وَأَجْسَادِهِمْ
So be Allah’s mercy and blessings.
وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
the Successors and the pleased
ٱلأَوْصِيَاءِ ٱلْمَرْضِيِّينَ
with the best of Your blessings,
بِأَفْضَلِ صَلَوَاتِكَ
and confer upon them
وَبَارِكْ عَلَيْهِمْ
with the best of your favors.
بِأَفْضَلِ بَرَكَاتِكَ
And peace be upon him and them
وَٱلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمْ
and Allah’s mercy and blessings be also upon them.
وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
I pray the forgiveness of Allah and I repent before Him.
أَسْتَغْفِرُ ٱللَّهَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ
O Allah, O He Who is the most magnanimous of all those who may grant!
اَللَّهُمَّ يَا أَجْوَدَ مَنْ أَعْطَىٰ
O He Who is the best of all those who are asked!
وَيَا خَيْرَ مَنْ سُئِلَ
O He Who is the most Merciful of all those whose mercy may be sought!
وَيَا أَرْحَمَ مَنِ ٱسْتُرْحِمَ
O Allah, send blessings to Muhammad and his Household among the foremost generations,
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ فِي ٱلأَوَّلِينَ
send blessings to Muhammad and his Household among the last generations,
وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ فِي ٱلآخِرِينَ
send blessings to Muhammad and his Household among the Highest Chiefs,
وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ فِي ٱلْمَلأِ ٱلأَعْلَىٰ
and send blessings to Muhammad and his Household among the Messengers.
وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ فِي ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
O Allah, (please) grant Muhammad and his Household
اَللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِ مُحَمَّداً وَآلَهُ
the right of mediation, preference,
ٱلْوَسِيلَةَ وَٱلْفَضِيلَةَ
honor, loftiness,
وَٱلشَّرَفَ وَٱلرِّفْعَةَ
and the grand rank.
وَٱلدَّرَجَةَ ٱلْكَبيرَةَ
O Allah, I believed in Muhammad,
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي آمَنْتُ بِمُحَمَّدٍ
may Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Household, while I have not seen him;
صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَلَمْ أَرَهُ
so, do not deprive me of seeing him on the Resurrection Day,
فَلاَ تَحْرِمْنِي فِي ٱلْقِيَامَةِ رُؤْيَتَهُ
confer upon me with the favor of accompanying him,
وَٱرْزُقْنِي صُحْبَتَهُ
cause me to die while I follow his creed,
وَتَوَفَّنِي عَلَىٰ مِلَّتِهِ
and allow me to drink from his Pool
وَٱسْقِنِي مِنْ حَوْضِهِ
a drink that is quenching,
مَشْرَباً رَوِيّاً
palatable, and pleasant,
سَائِغاً هَنِيئاً
after which I will never be thirsty.
لاَ أَظْمَأُ بَعْدَهُ أَبَداً
Verily, You have power over all things.
إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَديرٌ
O Allah, I believe in Muhammad,
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي آمَنْتُ بِمُحَمَّدٍ
may Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Household, while I have not seen him;
صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَلَمْ أَرَهُ
so, (please) show me his face in the gardens of Paradise.
فَعَرَِّفْنِي فِي ٱلْجِنَانِ وَجْهَهُ
O Allah, convey to Muhammad,
اَللَّهُمَّ بَلِّغْ مُحَمَّداً
may Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Household,
صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ
many greetings and compliments from me.
مِنِّي تَحِيَّةً كَثيرَةً وَسَلاَماً
I implore for Allah’s forgiveness.
أَسْتَغْفِرُ ٱللَّهَ
All glory be to Allah all praise be to Allah;;
سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ
there is no god save Allah;Allah is the Greatest;
وَلاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ وَٱللَّهُ اكْبَرُ
and there is no power and no might save with Allah, the All-high, the All-Great.
وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَلِيِّ ٱلْعَظِيمِ
O Allah, (please) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
All glory be to Allah and with the Praising o
سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ
Glory be to You! There is no god save You!
سُبْحَانَكَ لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ
O All-tender! O All-bestower!
يَا حَنَّانُ يَا مَنَّانُ
O Fashioner of the heavens and the earth!
يَا بَدِيعَ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَٱلأَرْضِ
يَا ذَا ٱلْجَلاَلِ وَٱلإكْرَامِ
of Majesty and Honor.
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا [وَ بِحَمْدِكَ] وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ
Glory be to You, O Allah, our God, (and for You is the praise!) To You be all praise;
أَنْتَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ
You the Ever-living, Self-Subsisting,
الْأَوَّلُ الْكَائِنُ وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ شَيْءٌ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ
The first existing; none was creating you,
أَوْ يُعَايَنْ شَيْءٌ مِنْ مُلْكِكَ
or any of your possessions were seen
أَوْ يُتَدَبَّرْ فِي شَيْءٍ مِنْ أَمْرِكَ أَوْ يُتَفَكَّرْ فِي شَيْءٍ
or contemplated in any of your matters or accomplishment.
مِنْ قَضَائِكَ قَائِمٌ بِقِسْطِكَ مُدَبِّرٌ لِأَمْرِكَ
Sitting on your throne, standing by your justice, controller of your affairs.
قَدْ جَرَى فِيمَا هُوَ كَائِنٌ قَدَرُكَ
Your destiny has been applied to what happened,
وَ مَضَى فِيمَا أَنْتَ خَالِقٌ عِلْمُكَ
and your knowledge has been applied to what you created.
خَلَقْتَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضَ فِرَاشاً وَ بِنَاءً
You created the heavens and earth as a spreading and covering!
فَسَوَّيْتَ السَّمَاءَ مَنْزِلًا رَضِيتَهُ لِجَلالِكَ
Furthermore, you made the heavens accepted home to your majesty,
وَ وَقَارِكَ وَ عِزَّتِكَ وَ سُلْطَانِكَ
solemnity, superiority, and supremacy.
ثُمَّ جَعَلْتَ فِيهَا كُرْسِيَّكَ وَ عَرْشَكَ
Therefore, you maintained your chair and throne in it,
ثُمَّ سَكَنْتَهَا لَيْسَ فِيهَا شَيْءٌ غَيْرُكَ
lived in it without anything except You;
مُتَكَبِّراً فِي عَظَمَتِكَ مُتَعَظِّماً فِي كِبْرِيَائِكَ
proud in your greatness; significant in your pride;
مُتَوَحِّداً فِي عُلُوِّكَ مُتَمَكِّناً فِي مُلْكِكَ
the only one in your highness; capable of your kingdom;
مُتَعَالِياً فِي سُلْطَانِكَ مُحْتَجِباً فِي عِلْمِكَ
exalting in your authority; veiling yourself by your knowledge,
مُسْتَوِياً عَلَى عَرْشِكَ
sitting on your throne.
فَتَبَارَكْتَ وَ تَعَالَيْتَ
Therefore, blessed are You and high exalted!
وَ عَلَا هُنَاكَ بَهَاؤُكَ وَ نُورُكَ وَ عِزَّتُكَ وَ قُدْرَتُكَ
Up there, your; glory, light, might, omnipotence,
وَ سُلْطَانُكَ وَ حَوْلُكَ وَ قُوَّتُكَ وَ رَحْمَتُكَ
authority, solidity, power, mercy,
وَ قُدْسُكَ وَ أَمْرُكَ وَ مَخَافَتُكَ وَ تَمْكِينُكَ الْمَكِينُ
holiness, command, apprehension strengthening distinguished,
وَ كِبْرُكَ الْكَبِيرُ وَ عَظَمَتُكَ الْعَظِيمَةُ
splendid enormousness and great mightiness are soaring.
وَ أَنْتَ اللهُ الْحَيُّ قَبْلَ كُلِّ حَيٍّ
You Allah the Ever-Living who was there before anything else,
وَ الْقَدِيمُ قَبْلَ كُلِّ قَدِيمٍ
the Sempiternal before any eternal,
وَ الْمَلِكُ بِالْمُلْكِ الْعَظِيمِ
The king with the great kingdom,
الْمُمْتَدَحُ الْمُمُدَحُ اسْمُكَ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ
the praised praiseworthy name in heavens, earth,
وَ خَالِقُهُنَّ وَ نُورُهُنَّ وَ رَبُّهُنَّ وَ إِلَهُهُنَّ وَ مَا فِيهِنَّ
its; creator, light, God, and Allah and what's in them.
فَسُبْحَانَكَ وَ بِحَمْدِكَ رَبَّنَا وَ جَلَّ ثَنَاؤُكَ
Glory and praise be to You, Allah and Your Praise-worthiness is Most Exalted.
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَ رَسُولِكَ وَ نَبِيِّكَ
God, bless Muhammad, Your slave, messenger, prophet,
وَ اجْزِهِ بِكُلِّ خَيْرٍ أَبْلَاهُ وَ شَرٍّ جَلَاهُ وَ يُسْرٍ أَتَاهُ
and reward him by; the best he did of, an evil he dispels, simplicity he accomplished,
وَ ضَعِيفٍ قَوَّاهُ وَ يَتِيمٍ آوَاهُ وَ مِسْكِينٍ رَحِمَهُ
strengthing of a weaker, sheltering an orphan, having mercy upon paupers,
وَ جَاهِلٍ عَلَّمَهُ وَ دِينٍ بَصَّرَهُ
the teaching of the ignorant, enlightening a pious
وَ حَقٍّ نَصَرَهُ الْجَزَاءَ الْأَوْفَى وَ الرَّفِيقَ الْأَعْلَى
and truth he helped with the; fullest repayment,highest helping friend
وَ الشَّفَاعَةَ الْجَائِزَةَ وَ الْمَنْزِلَ الرَّفِيعَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ عِنْدَكَ آمِينَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ
rewarded intercession and a raised home in heaven close by you; may it be so, Lord of the worlds.
اجْعَلْ لَهُ مَنْزِلًا مَغْبُوطاً وَ مَجْلِساً رَفِيعاً
Make; an envied home for him, a high seated position,
وَ ظِلًّا ظَلِيلًا وَ مُرْتَفِعاً جَسِيماً جَمِيلًا
shadowy shade, enormous graceful lofty
وَ نَظَراً إِلَى وَجْهِكَ يَوْمَ تَحْجُبُهُ عَنِ الْمُجْرِمِينَ
and gazing upon Your face when you hinder it from the criminals.
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
وَ اجْعَلْهُ لَنَا فَرَطاً وَ اجْعَلْ حَوْضَهُ لَنَا مَوْرِداً
Make him for us; a precede, his pool our reach,
وَ لِقَاءَهُ لَنَا مَوْعِداً يَسْتَبْشِرُ بِهِ أَوَّلُنَا وَ آخِرُنَا
and his meeting a promise that our first and last be cheerful about,
وَ أَنْتَ عَنَّا رَاضٍ فِي دَارِكَ دَارِ السَّلَامِ
while You are satisfied with us in Your home; the abode of Islam,
مِنْ جَنَّاتِكَ جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ
heavens; the Gardens of Delight
آمِينَ إِلَهَ الْحَقِّ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ
may it be so, Allah of Truth, Lord of the worlds.
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذِي هُوَ نُورٌ مِنْ نُورٍ وَ نُورٌ فَوْقَ كُلِّ نُورٍ
I beseech You in Your name, which is a light from light, and light upon every light.
وَ نُورٌ تُضِيءُ بِهِ كُلَّ ظُلْمَةٍ
And the light which illuminates every darkness,
وَ تَكْسِرُ بِهِ قُوَّةَ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ مَرِيدٍ وَ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ وَ جِنِّيٍّ عَتِيدٍ
and You break with it the disobedient, obstinate tyrant, and prepared Jinn Satan (devil) power.
وَ تُؤْمِنُ بِهِ خَوْفَ كُلِّ خَائِفٍ
And secure the fear of every frightened.
وَ تُبْطِلُ بِهِ سِحْرَ كُلِّ سَاحِرٍ وَ حَسَدَ كُلِّ حَاسِدٍ
And inactive every magic of a magician and the evil of all those who are jealous!
وَ يَتَضَرَّعُ لِعَظَمَتِهِ الْبَرُّ وَ الْفَاجِرُ
His greatness is beseeched by every faithful and libertine.
وَ بِاسْمِكَ الْأَكْبَرِ الَّذِي سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ
And (I beseech ) by your great name that; You named Yourself with,
وَ اسْتَوَيْتَ بِهِ عَلَى عَرْشِكَ
the throne You established Yourself on
وَ اسْتَقْرَرْتَ بِهِ عَلَى كُرْسِيِّكَ
and Your chair that You sat firmly on
أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
to send the blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
وَ أَنْ تُفَتَّحَ لِي اللَّيْلَةَ
Do open before me (the door) this night,
يَا رَبِّ بَابَ كُلِّ خَيْرٍ فَتَحْتَهُ لِأَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ
O, Lord of every goodness door You opened before anyone of Your creatures,
وَ أَوْلِيَائِكَ وَ أَهْلِ طَاعَتِكَ
Your intimate servants, and those who obey You.
ثُمَّ لَا تَسُدَّهُ عَنِّي أَبَداً
Then do not ever close it before me;
حَتَّى أَلْقَاكَ وَ أَنْتَ عَنِّي رَاضٍ
until I meet You while You are satisfied with me.
أَسْأَلُكَ ذَلِكَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَ أَرْغَبُ إِلَيْكَ فِيهِ بِقُدْرَتِكَ
I ask You for that by Your mercy and by Your ability, wishing for Your help in this request.
فَشَفِّعِ اللَّيْلَةَ يَا رَبِّ رَغْبَتِي وَ أَكْرِمْ طَلِبَتِي
Therefore, My Lord mediate for me tonight my desire; settle my need,
وَ نَفِّسْ كُرْبَتِي وَ ارْحَمْ عَبْرَتِي
relieve my distress, mercy upon my weeping,
وَ صِلْ وَحْدَتِي وَ آنِسْ وَحْشَتِي
associate my loneliness, divert my soleness,
وَ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَتِي وَ آمِنْ رَوْعَتِي وَ اجْبُرْ فَاقَتِي
hide my faults, calm my fear, settle my neediness,
وَ لَقِّنِّي حُجَّتِي وَ أَقِلْنِي عَثْرَتِي
dictate to me the principles of faith and lessen my lapses.
وَ اسْتَجِبْ اللَّيْلَةَ دُعَائِي وَ أَعْطِنِي مَسْأَلَتِي
Respond to my supplication today, (please) Answer my request,
وَ أَعْظِمْ مِنْ مَسْأَلَتِي وَ كُنْ بِدُعَائِي حَفِيّاً
make my request considerable, be gracious toward my prayer,
[وَ كُنْ بِي رَحِيماً وَ لَا تُقَنِّطْنِي [مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ
be merciful on me; do not make me lose hope of Your mercy.
وَ لَا تُؤْيِسْنِي مِنْ رَوْحِكَ وَ لَا تَخْذُلْنِي
(Please) do not make me despair of Your soothing mercy, do not abandon me;
وَ أَنَا أَدْعُوكَ وَ لَا تَحْرِمْنِي
while I beseech You, do not deprive me;
وَ أَنَا أَسْأَلُكَ وَ لَا تُعَذِّبَنِي وَ أَنَا أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ
while I ask You and do not punish me while I seek forgiveness of you.
يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ
O, Most Merciful of the merciful!
وَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ أَجْمَعِينَ
O, Allah's blessings upon Muhammed and his whole Household.
