Dua Wahda (Supplication for Unity)

Duas & Supplications

1. لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ إِلَهًا وَاحِدًا وَ نَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ -

   La ilaha illallahu ilahan wahidan wa nahnu lahu muslimun

   There is no god but Allah, the One God, and to Him we submit

2. لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَلَا نَعْبُدُ إِلَّا إِيَّاهُ، مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ

   La ilaha illallahu wa la na’budu illa iyyahu, mukhlisina lahud-din

   There is no god but Allah, and we worship none but Him, making our religion sincere to Him

3. وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ -

   wa law karihal-mushrikun

   even if the polytheists detest it

4. لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ رَبُّنَا وَ رَبُّ آبَائِنَا الْأَوَّلِينَ -

   La ilaha illallahu rabbuna wa rabbu aba’inal-awwalin

   There is no god but Allah, our Lord and the Lord of our forefathers

5. لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ وَحْدَهُ وَحْدَهُ، أَنْجَزَ وَعْدَهُ، وَ

   La ilaha illallahu wahdahu wahdahu wahdahu, anjaza wa’dahu, wa

   There is no god but Allah, alone, alone, alone; He fulfilled His promise, and

6. نَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ، وَ أَعَزَّ جُنْدَهُ -

   nasara ‘abdahu, wa a’azza jundahu

   He helped His servant, and He strengthened His soldiers

7. وَ هَزَمَ الْأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ، فَلَهُ الْمُلْكُ، وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ -

   wa hazamal-ahzaba wahdahu, falahul-mulku, wa lahul-hamdu

   and He defeated the confederates alone; to Him belongs the Kingdom, and to Him belongs the Praise

8. يُحْيِي وَ يُمِيتُ وَ يُمِيتُ وَ يُحْيِي -

   yuhyi wa yumitu wa yumitu wa yuhyi

   He gives life and He causes death, and He causes death and He gives life

9. وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ، بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

   wa huwa hayyun la yamutu, biyadihil-khayru wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadir

   and He is Ever-Living and does not die; in His hand is all goodness, and He has power over all things
