Ziyarat Ameenallah
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا اَمِيْنَ اللَّهِ فِيْ اَرْضِهِ
alssalamu alayka ya amina allahi fi ardihi
Peace be upon you, O trustee of Allah on His lands,
وَحُجَّتَهُ عَلَى عِبَادِهِ
wa hujjatahu ala ibadihi
and argument of Allah against His servants.
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا اَمِيْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
alssalamu alayka ya amira almu'minina
Peace be upon you, O Commander of the Faithful.
اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ جَاهَدْتَ فِي اللَّهِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهِ
ashhadu annaka jahadta fi allahi haqqa jihadihi
I bear witness that you strove for the sake of Allah as it ought to be striven,
وَعَمِلْتَ بِكِتَابِهِ
wa amilta bikitabihi
acted upon His Book,
وَاتَّبَعْتَ سُنَنَ نَبِيِّهِ
wattaba ta sunana nabiyyihi
and followed the instructions of His Prophet,
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ
salla allahu alayhi wa alihi
peace of Allah be upon him and his Household,
حَتَّى دَعَاكَ اللَّهُ اِلَى جِوَارِهِ
hatta daaka allahu ila jiwarihi
until Allah called you to be in His vicinity.
فَقَبَضَكَ اِلَيْهِ بِاِخْتِيَارِهِ
faqabadaka ilayhi bikhtiyarihi
So He grasped you to Him by His will,
وَاَلْزَمَ اَعْدَاءَكَ الْحُجَّةَ
wa alzama adaaka alhujjata
and put your enemies under the claim,
مَعَ مَا لَكَ مِنَ الْحُجَجِ الْبَالِغَةِ عَلَى جَمِيْعِ خَلْقِهِ
maa ma laka min alhujaji albalighati ala jamii khalqihi
although you have inclusive claims against all of His creatures.
اَللَّهُمَّ فَاجْعَلْ نَفْسِيْ مُطْمَئِنَّةً بِقَدَرِكَ
allahumma fajal nafsi mutma'innatan biqadarika
O Allah, (please do) cause my soul to be fully tranquil with Your decrees,
رَاضِيَةً بِقَضَائِكَ
radiyatan biqdha'ika
satisfied with Your acts,
مُوْلَعَةً بِذِكْرِكَ وَدُعَائِكَ
mula atan bidhikrika wa dua'ika
fond of mentioning and praying to You,
مُحِبَّةً لِصَفْوَةِ اَوْلِيَائِكَ
muhibbatan lisafwati awliya'ika
bearing love for the choicest of Your intimate servants,
مَحْبُوْبَةً فِيْ اَرْضِكَ وَسَمَائِكَ
mahbubatan fi ardika wa sama'ika
beloved in Your lands and heavens,
صَابِرَةً عَلَى نُزُوْلِ بَلَائِكَ
sabiratan ala nuzuli bala'ika
steadfast against the affliction of Your tribulations,
شَاكِرَةً لِفَوَاضِلِ نَعْمَائِكَ
shakiratan lifawadili naa'ika
thankful for Your graceful bounties,
ذَاكِرَةً لِسَوَابِغِ آلَائِكَ
dhakiratan lisawabighi ala'ika
always bearing in mind Your incessant gifts,
مُشْتَاقَةً اِلَى فَرْحَةِ لِقَائِكَ
mushtaqatan ila farhati liqa'ika
longing for the gladness of meeting You,
مُتَزَوِّدَةً التَّقْوَى لِيَوْمِ جَزَائِكَ
mutazawwidatan alttaqwa liyawmi jaza'ika
supplied with piety for the day of Your rewarding,
مُسْتَنَّةً بِسُنَنِ اَوْلِيَائِكَ
mustannatan bisunani awliya'ika
pursuing the morals of Your intimate servants,
مُفَارِقَةً لِاَخْلَاقِ اَعْدَائِكَ
mufariqatan li'akhlaqi adda'ika
quitting the conducts of Your enemies,
مَشْغُوْلَةً عَنِ الدُّنْيَا بِحَمْدِكَ وَثَنَائِكَ
mashghulatan an alddunya bihamdika wa thana'ika
and distracted from this world by praising and thanking You.
اَللَّهُمَّ اِنَّ قُلُوْبَ الْمُخْبِتِيْنَ اِلَيْكَ وَالِهَةٌ
allahumma inna quluba almukhbitina ilayka walihatun
O Allah, the hearts of those humbling themselves to You are fascinated,
وَسُبُلَ الرَّاغِبِيْنَ اِلَيْكَ شَارِعَةٌ
wa subula alrraghibina ilayka shariatan
the paths of those desiring for You are open,
وَاَعْلَامَ الْقَاصِدِيْنَ اِلَيْكَ وَاضِحَةٌ
wa alama alqasidina ilayka wadihatun
the signs of those directing to You are evident,
وَاَفْئِدَةَ الْعَارِفِيْنَ مِنْكَ فَازِعَةٌ
wa af'idata alarifina minka fazi atun
the hearts of those having recognition of You are resorting to You,
وَاَصْوَاتَ الدَّاعِيْنَ اِلَيْكَ صَاعِدَةٌ
wa aswata aldda ina ilayka saidatun
the voices of those beseeching You are mounting up to You,
وَاَبْوَابَ الْاِجَابَةِ لَهُمْ مُفَتَّحَةٌ
wa abwaba al-ijabati lahum mufattahatun
the doors of responding to them are wide open,
وَدَعْوَةَ مَنْ نَاجَاكَ مُسْتَجَابَةٌ
wa dawata man najaka mustajabatun
the prayer of him who speaks to You confidentially is responded,
وَتَوْبَةَ مَنْ اَنَابَ اِلَيْكَ مَقْبُوْلَةٌ
wa tawbata man anaba ilayka maqbulatun
the repentance of him who turns to You is admitted,
وَعَبْرَةَ مَنْ بَكَى مِنْ خَوْفِكَ مَرْحُوْمَةٌ
wa abrata man baka min khawfika marhumatun
the tear of him who weeps on account of fear from You is compassionated,
وَالْاِغَاثَةَ لِمَنِ اسْتَغَاثَ بِكَ مَوْجُوْدَةٌ
wal-ighathata liman istaghatha bika mawjudatun
the aid of him who seeks Your aid is available,
وَالْاِعَانَةَ لِمَنِ اسْتَعَانَ بِكَ مَبْذُوْلَةٌ
wal-ianata liman istana bika mabdhulatun
the help of him who seeks Your help is obtainable,
وَعِدَاتِكَ لِعِبَادِكَ مُنْجَزَةٌ
wa idatika liibadika munjazatun
Your promises to Your servants are fulfilled,
وَزَلَلَ مَنِ اسْتَقَالَكَ مُقَالَةٌ
wa zalala man istaqalaka muqalatun
the slips of him who implores You to excuse him are forgiven,
وَاَعْمَالَ الْعَامِلِيْنَ لَدَيْكَ مَحْفُوْظَةٌ
wa amala alamiilina ladayka mahfuzatun
the deeds of those who act for You are preserved,
وَاَرْزَاقَكَ اِلَى الْخَلَائِقِ مِنْ لَدُنْكَ نَازِلَةٌ
wa arzaqaka ila alkha'iqiqa min ladunka nazilatun
Your sustenance to the creatures is descending from You,
وَعَوَائِدَ الْمَزِيْدِ اِلَيْهِمْ وَاصِلَةٌ
wa awa'ida almazidi ilayhim wasilatun
Your gifts for further conferrals are reaching them,
وَذُنُوْبَ الْمُسْتَغْفِرِيْنَ مَغْفُوْرَةٌ
wa dhunuba almustaghfirina maghfuratun
the sins of those imploring Your forgiveness are forgiven,
وَحَوَائِجِ خَلْقِكَ عِنْدَكَ مَقْضِيَّةٌ
wa hawa'ija khalqika indaka maqdiyyatun
the requests of Your creatures are granted by You,
وَجَوَائِزَ السَّائِلِيْنَ عِنْدَكَ مُوَفَّرَةٌ
wa jawa'iza alssa'ilina indaka muwaffaratun
the prizes of those begging You are offered,
وَعَوَائِدَ الْمَزِيْدِ مُتَوَاتِرَةٌ
wa awa'ida almazidi mutawatiratun
Your gifts for further conferrals are uninterrupted,
وَمَوَائِدَ الْمُسْتَطْعِمِيْنَ مُعَدَّةٌ
wa mawa'ida almustat imina mu addatun
the dining tables for those seeking Your feeding are prepared,
وَمَنَاهِلَ الظِّمَاءِ مُتْرَعَةٌ
wa manahila alzzama'i mutra atun
and the springs for quenching their thirst are brimful.
اَللَّهُمَّ فَاسْتَجِبْ دُعَائِيْ
allahumma fastajib du'a'i
O Allah, (so) respond to my prayer,
وَاقْبَلْ ثَنَائِيْ
waqbal thana'i
accept my thanksgiving for You,
وَاجْمَعْ بَيْنِيْ وَبَيْنَ اَوْلِيَائِيْ
wajma bayniy wa bayna awliya'i
and join me to my masters,
بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلِيٍّ
bihaqqi muhammadin wa aliyyin
[I beseech You] in the name of Muhammad and ʿAli,
وَفَاطِمَةَ وَالْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ
wa fatimata walhasani walhusayni
Fatimah, al-Hasan, and al-Husayn.
اِنَّكَ وَلِيُّ نَعْمَائِيْ
innaka waliyyu naa'i
You are verily the only source of my boons,
وَمُنْتَهَى مُنَايَ
wa muntaha munaya
the ultimate goal of my wishes,
وَغَايَةُ رَجَائِيْ فِيْ مُنْقَلَبِيْ وَمَثْوَايَ
wa ghayatu raja'i fi munqalabi wa mathwaya
and the target of my hope in my recourses and settlement.
Addition from Kamil al-Ziyarat
In the book of Kamil al-Ziyarat, the following statements are added to this form of Ziyarah:
اَنْتَ اِلَهِيْ وَسَيِّدِيْ وَمَوْلَايَ
anta ilahi wa sayyidi wa mawlaya
You are verily my God, Master, and Lord.
اغْفِرْ لِاَوْلِيَائِنَا
ighfir li-awliya'ina
(Please) forgive our friends,
وَكُفَّ عَنَّا اَعْدَاءَنَا
wa kuffa anna adda'ana
prevent our enemies against us,
وَاشْغَلْهُمْ عَنْ اَذَانَا
wa ashghilhum an adhana
distract them from harming us,
وَاَظْهِرْ كَلِمَةَ الْحَقِّ
wa azhir kalimata alhaqqi
give prevalence to the Word of Truth,
وَاجْعَلْهَا الْعُلْيَا
wajaalha al ulya
and make it the supreme,
وَاَدْحِضْ كَلِمَةَ الْبَاطِلِ
wa adhid kalimata albatili
and frustrate the word of falsehood,
وَاجْعَلْهَا السُّفْلَى
wajaalha alssufla
and make it the lowliest.
اِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ
innaka ala kulli shay'in qadirun
Verily, You have power over all things.
Farewell Ziyarat
Farewell Ziyarat to be Recited after Ziyaarat-e-Ameenullah (Whenever you depart from the shrine of the Holy Imams (a.s.))
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الْاِمَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ اَسْتَوْدِعُكَ اللَّهَ وَعَلَيْكَ السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
assalamu alayka ayyuhal imamu wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuh astawdi uka allaha wa alayka alssalamu wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuh
Peace be on you, O the Imam, and mercy of Allah and His blessings. I entrust you with Allah, and upon you is peace and mercy of Allah and His blessings.
آمَنَّا بِالرَّسُوْلِ وَبِمَا جِئْتُمْ بِهِ وَدَعَوْتُمْ اِلَيْهِ
aamanna birrasuli wa bima ji'tum bihi wa da awtum ilayhi
We believe in the Messenger, and in whatever you have come with and called to.
اَللَّهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلْهُ آخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنْ زِيَارَتِيْ وَلِيَّكَ
allahumma la taj alhu akhira al ahdi min ziyarati waliyyaka
O Allah! Do not make this my last visitation of Your master.
اَللَّهُمَّ لَا تَحْرِمْنِيْ ثَوَابَ مَزَارِهِ الَّذِيْ اَوْجَبْتَ لَهُ وَيَسِّرْ لَنَا الْعَوْدَ اِلَيْهِ اِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى
allahumma la tahrimni thawaba mazarihi alladhi awjabta lahu wa yassir lana al awda ilayhi in sha'a allahu taala
O Allah! Do not deprive me of the reward of his shrine which You have decided for him, and make our returning to visit it easy for us, if Allah the Exalted wills.
